Alot of unusal offers go past the 30 buds but you need to overpay in usuuals. Theres no pure bud offers.
Show me an offer of more than 27 pure buds. I don't think this needs to go up, possibly down.
There are no "pure" offers. The only "pure" offer I saw was a 27-30 key joke offer
But value sure has gone up in the last 5 months.
It was what before a range existed and even that had a sale higher then 27 buds.
I would think you would know that expensive stuff like this tend to never have the full "pure" offer
I'm not so sure but I think in unusual trading these get taken in around 30 buds but these are very rare so idk
but ill see if a get any more input from others
You're 100% correct; how many traders would have 27 earbuds? Maybe 1,000 at the most? Maybe even 100? Of those, who would want a vintage buds, etc.
It's a tricky item to put on the price guide, as there's 8 in public backpacks on stats.tf
It's not like you're going to get a bunch of people wondering "Hmm, I wonder how much I can sell my vintage earbuds for? I know, I'll check on backpack.tf!"
Anyway, I applaud the effort, and I'll vote this up, but again, I don't really think it matters all that much to have an 'accurate' price for an item such as this. :)
Yeah well I tried using all this same reasoning when people were lowering the price of my moon company man to lower than one just sold for in pure the day before and it still got lowered because people are fucking retarded.
It's just a suggested price anyway, and you even said in the suggestion that a trader with 20 earbuds in their backpack is rare. It's kind of funny, because if you, or the guys in the original post selling vint buds waited for a trader with 20-30 earbuds, it's likely that you would never sell the hat. It'd be a lot easier just to ask for $30 * 20 = $600, or $30 * 30 = $900 straight up instead of earbuds in the game.
Here's an old post by base64 showing just how rare it is to find someone with over 10 buds. It looks like I totally overestimated how many would have 20 or 30 buds. It's gotta be something like 10-20 traders with that many, at the most...
