Just out of curiosity, how would that update affect these Skull's prices? They remain the glitched items, and are not purchasable from the store...

Directly it wouldn't. But some collectors might've become wary of losing money if Valve decides to screw collectors up again.
I don't even get why this would effect collectors since that isn't even logical. Also, the B/O's are 2 because people treat these as promo's with a flat rate price and will just wait until they get exactly that. The chance to negotiate them lower than 2 is not something you can count on. Your first 2 links are sold without much to go on as far as what they went for. 3rd link obviously is willing to wait for 2. 4th link had a C/O of 2 buds and the owner didn't go for it right away so the person appears to have purchased elsewhere. So to recap, these proofs have no proof of a price drop. Gonna have to DOWNVOTE.

Then it seems reasonable to assume that since they did not immediately receive their posted price, that they decided to not sell and keep the item for themselves. Thus once again showing that the ability to negotiate one for less than 2 is something you cannot count on.
