Suggestion: Prince Tavish's Crown at 2 ref

Got one as sweets in a trade, and I researched its price because he valued it at 2 ref. And sure enough, they're being sold for 2 ref fairly easily. There are some sold on both sides, but I chose 2 ref flat because there are also quite a few unsold for 2 ref. 1.66 ref is instantly sold (only one of those) and 1.66 offers are almost always rejected.

Looks to me like it should be 1.66-2 refined. 2 ref only should never be the price if there are 4-5 unsold at that price.

But I only found one being sold for 1.66 ref, and offers of 1.66 ref are declined instantly. There aren't enough sold at 1.66 to be included.

The amount of sold Crowns for 2 ref is way higher than the amount unsold for 2 ref. Thus I think those were just unlucky. Still, thanks for the input.

There are people offering to buy for 1.66 ref and 2 ref, which does strongly support a rise in price (since buyers usually offer below the lowest price)

i JUST bought one for 1.33 + demoman soul. thats less than 1.66. these arent going for as much they used to. the crown and king cape crazy is calming down and its not gonna go back up

And you and the one other person who bought for 1.66 represent the whole market? No. Its what I like to call "selling to stupid people". You just got lucky, which happens once in a while.

I too received one as sweets, have not tried to sell it yet, but I received several offers of 1.66 and 1.77 on a trade server. I'd say a range extending to 2 ref would be better, but it seems you have proof and have researched this. Upvote on my part.

Uh, lots of your evidence backs up a 2-2.33 range, but why do I not see a range here? I agree that the old price is inaccurate, so this is a step in the right direction, but there should be a range of 2-2.33. Also leave the 3ref month old suggestion out of here, it is irrelevant.

Its because there is just a few on 2.33, and a similar amount of 1.66. If I was going to make a range, it would be 1.66-2.33, but there are too few of them to need a range, so I made it what they were most commonly going for and the average of the range. Also with a few unsold at 2 ref, 2.33 as a top range seems somewhat unreasonable.
