I recently came across one of these while trading unusuals, and found that people are not paying anywhere near 24 keys, which is the max this item is valued at right now. Honestly, this is quite a cancerous hat, considering that the hat itself and the effect are both not generally considered good or even okay, so I definitely think the price of this should be lowered.

This guy's getting low offers left and right, appears he was going to accept 16 keys (guy that offered the Big Kill)

This person has been trying to sell theirs for a week, and the most they've been offered is 15 keys in items.

One of these is attempting to be sold at 185,000 credits on TF2WH, which is the equivalent to ~16 keys.

This was the person that traded his steel toe for an unusual hat that I sold him; we counted his hat as 12 keys during the trade (which he suggested).

Here's my trade of me trying to sell it once I got it, someone offered me 12 keys, and I tried to get them to come up to 14, and they didn't respond. This also happened once on a trade server, but no screenshot for that unfortunately.

A lot of extremely young trades here. First and last link are barely over an hour old, something 'failing to sell' in an hour doesn't even have meaning on regular hats. Also have to point out this was last updated just last week.

The age of trades is very important when it comes to unusuals. Unusuals typically take time to get value out of, when your oldest provided trade is one week old, it's a pretty strong indication that you'll need to dig a bit deeper or just give things more time in order to get a clearer picture of the unusual.

All that said. You've demonstrated that your low point is well supported, but given what's provided, there isn't enough to say that it can't reach 24 keys.

Maybe if there was some evidence of people trying to buy them for more than 20 keys at most, or someone actually selling one for that price, it would be a different story. But I'm afraid that they're just not going to be sold for more than 20 keys to someone who knows prices; this hat is quite cancerous. Go get it pricechecked on various unusual servers. I did that before I posted this, every response was 20 keys or less.

I agree with Vincent. There are some young trades there, which makes it hard to really put any sort of price tag on it based on those trades. A few of them haven't even been on the market for a day, which is an extremely short time when it comes to unusuals. I think I still agree with the price, however.

I do agree that the trades are rather young, I know that. But based on the fact that there are people asking for less than the current LOW price that have been up for more than a week, and no one has responded at all, and that there are no instances of people buying them for more than 16 keys currently, the price is definitely clear (to me at least). I would also like to point out that in the previously accepted price, the examples that were given did not show that people buy them for more than 20 keys whatsoever, instead just people that were trying to sell them for ~20 keys (which haven't had success since then I might add).

I upvoted this from the start and that's not changing, I just think it's a little harsh to say "Failing to even sell it for 16 keys" when the trade hasn't even been up for one day. Next time, mention that they're young trades, but that the proof still exists that people want to sell it for less than the current price suggests. That's just my two cents!
