Suggestion: The Outback Intellectual at 1.5–2 keys

The problem with this kind of evidence is that there are hundreds of trades for this item. So it could be very easy to pick out 20 that haven't sold, if you wanted to bias the evidence a bit

I doubt that's happening in this case, but look at it this way: if it's really so hard to sell for 2 keys, then there must be some people selling for less than 2 keys. The OP should find them...

If you have a variety of evidence like this, it provides a much stronger proof. It doesn't require other users (or the admins) to do so much more checking. All we really need to do is confirm that the links are genuine.

Yes, but the total change in value of this item due to the increase in key price is maybe as much as 0.44 ref. You're suggesting reducing the low price range down to 1.5 keys. That's a reduction of about 1.44 ref.

OK, that may be true. So why not show us some of the people who bought one or sold one for that price. That is all this conversation is about. That's what FearKitten was asking for.

Hey, I didn't say I was downvoting. All I said was that I'd prefer to see what they ARE selling for. How do we know the price hasn't dropped even further? NOTE: I'm not saying it has, but it would be preferable for him to prove that it's trading between 1.5 - 2 keys, in my opinion at least.

I recently sold mine for 2 tod tickets, yellow dirty fast learner and 2.33 ref, maybe i got a very good deal but i dont see it going for less then 2 keys, still the proof is good, so ill stay neutral

I agree but since you prooved that this misc is almost impossible to sell at 2 keys a better range will be just 1,5 keys..

all his proof shows that it takes a week to sell for 2 keys. cause i dont see any over 1 week old in his comment.

1 week isn't too much... after I checked your links, only around 1/2 - 3/4 were still open.

It doesn't really matter how long it takes,

As long as people are buying/selling at the price, it is correct price.

Also, the last link is reference to the one potato posted as example,

- Its the only valid link in this whole thread (possible successful trade at 4ref) unless you provide more.

It is matter how long is takes. It show you that how long is takes people willing to pay full price for it and how "badly" they want them. Like you see 1 - 4 weeks some of them can't even get an offers.

- At least it will give you links to successful trades that there are people selling at 1.5keys (which I didn't manage to find and you didn't provide)

I just bought one for 5.33 ref, but that was a deal due to him wanting metal more than anything. Every other trade I saw while looking was 2 keys. Or more.

Definitely no proof why it should drop all the way down to 1.5 keys.

- Check user backpack (wow, 2 outbacks)

- Check item history of both outbacks (non are from the user who said he sell for 4 ref)

4. Draw conclusion from 3.

Now, there are 3 possible cases for missing outback

1. Outback at 4 ref didn't follow through (no trade done)

2. Outback brought at 4 ref, resold at 2 keys

3. Something else happened

My Conclusion:

Buying at 4 ref to resell at 2 keys = Buying at quicksell prices to sell at normal.

Also, hard to sell doesn't lead to price drop.

- Buyers must be willing to pay

- Seller must be willing to part

- Then trade can happen

If nobody is selling less then 2 keys, it means seller are not willing to lower even if it takes a week to sell.

Please... He may bought more then 1 and already trade it for something else, even resell is still took almost a week can't even get an offer, it show you how "badly" people want them and willing to pay full price. My price suggestion is 1.5 - 2 keys to make it easy to sell for them, also they can have more customer willing to buy it for 1.5 or full price.

I'm going to agree with Fear Kitten and Potato; Yes, there's many unsold at 2 keys, BUT there's also quite a lot being traded at that price, or even slightly higher. It may take a while, but any item that isn't a currency does.

This suggestion has been open a while and hasn't really gone anywhere. Without some solid sales at under 2 keys there's not much point to such a large change.
