Again: to say the range more accurately, almost no buyers at 1 rec and almost no sellers at 1 scrap. Most trades are between them (2 scrap +or- 1 random weapon)
half a scrap is written as .05, but it is rarely used except for normal weapons and other very cheap items.
I wasn't trying to write .05 but .16 or .17 neither of which would work
I have never seen one go for 1 scrap. Selling for 2 scrap is very easy and selling for a rec is hard but possible. Your imgur proof shows you buying for 2 scrap and a reclaimed. Downvote.
as I said multiple times, It's not actually 1 scrap, it's one and a half
And as well, if you use math, you see that I'm paying 1.5 scrap for each one in all but one of the examples above
Buying in bulk tends to have lower prices. And if you use logic, you can tell that if you think it's one and a half, your price should reflect that.
AND AGAIN, IT DOES NOT SUPPORT EIGHTEENTHS, IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SET THE PRICE AT .16 OR .17
I've seen prices at 0.16, so yes it does.
you try it then...
if you can succeed in that, I'll close mine, upvote yours and give you a free strange shortstop
I don't think I have to. The fact that that most weapons have a price of 0.05 is proof enough. I'd rather just watch your vote fail. It's more fun.
So I'm guessing you can't put up half a weapon?
I got 1 strange shortstop for 0.15 ref. But thats the only one.
*facepalm* I just got a bunch of negative votes from people who can't read.
Well, the problem is if this were to be accepted, there won't buy a notice saying "This is actually .16-.27". It would show up as .11-.33 and be inaccurate.
Although the price suggestion is lacking, Brad did update it so people could no longer use 0.5 or 0.17 as a suggestion. Brad should fix this again.
easily sells at 2 scrap and somethimes 1rec no need of a price change
Since the site doesn't support your price suggestion, why would you think it's ok to lowball it so you could make a suggestion? Thats just silly. BIG DOWNVOTE. It's better to leave as-is then to lowball a price to where NO ONE sells it for. It's pointless to say it's actually ".16-.27" since nobody will ever read it or believe it later. Whats happening is that it will come across as "this item is worth a scrap, sometimes more". So now the scrap buyers will point to Backpack.tf and be like "it says .11 there, so It's only worth a scrap". Which is not true. This suggestion needs to be closed since even the suggestor says his suggestion is wrong and has to post in the comments about it. :/
I give up. It may make sense just putting one up for .22
I can explain that prices can vary 1 weapon so people don't complain about "range"
You can explain. If this gets accepted you would have to explain it to everyone who uses the pricelist. Can you do that? no.
