There are plenty of these on the market, but, for some reason, the price appears to have risen recently. It is still possible to get these for 2 - 2.33, but more are being traded for around a key. Due to the instability regarding key prices at the moment, I have decided to err on the side of caution and describe keys as 2.66.

Firstly, those that have sold for 2 ref:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6890210 - Sold for 2 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6910961 - Selling for 2 ref - Only been up for 9 hours

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6678058 - Offer of 2 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6787861 - Sold for 2 ref

Those that have sold for 2.33:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6900345 - Selling for 2.33 - been up for less than a day

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6893767 - Sold for 2.33

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6742934 - Sold for a key - a rec

Those that have sold for a key (counted as 2.66 for the purposes of this suggestion):

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6884221 - Sold for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6608055 - Sold for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6337169 - Sold several for 1 key over 3 weeks, not sure of trade dates

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6824935 - Sold for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6637519 - Sold for 1 key

The reason I have decided to value keys at 2.66 is twofold. Firstly, because I'm cautious, and did not want to risk a 3 ref valuation in this case, and secondly, because of the large numbers that have not been sold at a key:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6235114 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6889320 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6701020 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6844124 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6916133 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6456629 - Selling for 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6861077 - Selling for 2.77

I believe that I have chosen the price that best represents the evidence which I gathered. The price should represent the trade that occurs.

And for once guys, don't be mystery down voters. On almost all my suggestions there are ~5 people who down vote without posting a comment. If you have a valid reason why this shouldn't go through, tell me! Others can follow your lead - if you're right.

Let me know what you think :D

Disagree, far too many selling at the lower end to warrant any sort of rise in the higher end, that and these will continue to fall as more and more are won.

Are there too many being sold at the lower end? OP isn't exactly flooded with them. There are lots of people selling at a key, and quite a few are bought. That's what I'd describe as a high end price.

I'd agree with your second statement, if this was an economics class. However, all we can do is look at the market and then write down what we see. I can see these being traded for 2.66. That matters more to me than anything about the gradual decline in price of bk weapons. We can't set prices for the future, only determine them from current evidence.

I agree with you. Good work . Price of the item should be formed on the basis of analysis of the market, or most of it, as possible to reduce the price of the item based on the individual transaction (Example-If all sell some sort of item for 3 keys, but it is necessary to spend a while, when I urgently need 2 keys the-I am selling this item for two keys fast - but it does not mean that everything will be sold item for 2 keys)

Its possible to buy those for 1.66 Ref but it also sells for 1 key so idk imo 2 to 2.66 is more accurate then 2 to 2.33.

Sold mine for 2.66 easily about 2 days ago, only had to wait and hour. Upvoted

Bought it from a quickseller for 1 ref, and sold it almost instantly for 2.33. Done this I think 3 times, so I'll upvote.

2.66 is possible, but the amount unsold at that price is more than the amount sold. The 1 key sellers seem to just be getting lucky and finding spreadsheet users who tend to overprice things as we all know. Going to stay neutral for this one.

It seems to sell fast at anything below a key. Id agree
