can you post some links of this happening? Because most people function like this on this website (no proof = unjust suggestion "I must down-vote")
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6728283 - Sold for 1.33 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6576377 - Sold for 1 ref
No comments proving they actually sold for that price though.
alright thanks for providing proof but I still won't vote until I see one sold at suggested price
No problem I'm doing the same, too. I'm not the OP by the way (not sure if you confused me with him). The two links I have below are selling for 2 rec, so if they sell for that price, then I am upvoting.
Look at this: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6919195
I got myself a Dirty Scotch Bonnet, offered in this trade and sold it without further negoiation for 0.66 ref
Seems good based on the search for the Uncraftable Bonnet on outpost, but these 2 are unsold at 2 rec. When they sell, then you have my up vote.

HUEGUEGUEGEUGUE NO PROOF
Jajajaja. No proof, no upvote.
Limited supply does not necessitate an increase in price; if the demand isn't there then no one is going to buy them.
Please provide stronger evidence for your suggestions.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6462680 : This man here for the last 2 weeks tried to sell his uncraftable hats, today it seems that he had turned down an offer of .44 for his UC. Scotch Bonnet, because the seller still has it in his backpack.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6728283 : The user here sold his UC. Scotch Bonnet for 1.33 ref, which is obviously far much higher that the normal price, but checking the time passed to the response of the buyer (min.3 days) people are capable of paying more than the usual to get an uncraftable scotch bonnet / hat (in general)
-The first link doesn't really help anything because he may be looking for more than reasonable price like a lot of sellers
-The second link was a lucky sell in my opinion
I'm waiting for someone to put a block on uncraftable suggestions for a few weeks. There have been soooooo many of them, and not all of them have been wrong.
Most of them, however, have been based on speculation about their value as a collectors' item.
I'm yet to meet a collector of uncraftable scotch bonnets.
I think it's best to wait until everything settles down before we start messing around with the prices.
Vote of Neutrality
I miss the days when uncraftable things were worth less because they were uncraftable, not because there were more or less of them.
PROOFeth' : http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6919195
Offered my Scotch Bonnet dirty to this buyer for the price stated (0.66), he accepted without hesitation or negotiation. Buyers might go up to 0.66 for these kind of hats (non-starter ones) so a price 0.44-0.66 is acceptable
Except one trade doesn't represent the entire market.
Considering that there are just as many uncraftable ones than craftable ones I don't see any shortage of these. Ever.
