what do you mean more proof? I just rejected a bud offer, the previous price was just under a bud...

He mean's showing multiple other trades selling this unusual with this effect that have either been sold or have been at least offered your suggested price range; one trade alone is not enough proof to change the previous price.

i think if one person rejects a bud when the previous price suggests was 26 keys (lower then a bud), i think it needs a bump in price..

That is not enough; this site is a reflection and documentation of current prices based on successful trades with the item in question, and the only way that is determined is by collecting data on multiple trades, not just on one. It is also not dictated by opinions, or else everyone who "thinks" their item is worth more would be able to manipulate the price to reflect their opinion, and once again, that is not the purpose of this site.

yes, but just oneself is not necessarily full evidence. "this guy"'s reasoning is also fallacious because his own opinion about the hat does not reflect what the general population thinks.

Quite true; unless all other trades with this unusual and effect have had similar sales or offers, it is seen as just as exception to the current listed price, and is not concrete enough proof that the change is needed.

For now, I will downvote until more proof of other trades either been sold or have had offers for the suggested price are presented.

See that's better; at least now there is more solid evidence that people are willing to go above a bud to try and get this unusual, which now shows that this unusual is in need of an update.

With more evidence to shed some light, I will change my vote to an upvote. Sorry if my comments may have offended, but many voters on this site look down on suggestions with no concrete evidence to back up their price; you wouldn't believe how many suggestions flood this site with no evidence to help state their case, and they just end up closed due to a lack of it.

But just a heads up, I suggest trying to find more similar trades to help your case more; more proof of your range being supported would help ensure that anyone else not confident in this suggestion can check the trades and help change their votes as well.
