http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6794207 - offered for 10
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5384024 - several 10 key/ "add me" comments
Just sold two of these for 14 keys each this week. Yeah I got lucky, but still. These really don't need to be dropping.
Yes, they need. It takes few days to sell at 11 keys and 10 minutes or less to buy at 10 keys. I think it's obvious.
Accurate. Anyone who says otherwise, throw up 10 keys on outpost and you will be swarmed with people selling for 10.
I have to agree on this. Upvote
Sold yesterday one at 11.5 with no problems.
Then make a suggestion to raise the price to 11.5 keys. Go on, I'll wait.
tf2trade over the last day or so:

Looks like it sells at 10, but not so much at 11.
Good evidence, and I like having a range up there much better than a single value. Ranges usually seem to tend towards the more realistic side of things (not always going to buy and sell at a single value).
Bought 1 today @ 10 keys and one yesterday for about the same in items so range seems fine, up voted.
I dont have any crate 40 so I´m neutral on this, But you can´t base your price suggestions on quickbuys trades like yours at 10 keys. Next you will have people people quickbuyng bills at 7 keys and they will say hey I managed to buy some bills at 7 keys that means their worth between 7 -8 if unpainted .
The dirty little secret about backpack.tf is that they don't like touching the 'currency items' other than keys and buds. If this was a truly accurate price guide, Bill's Hat would be something like 7.5-8 keys and Max's Head would be 1.8-2 buds. These kinds of suggestions get turned down to maintain the status quo, but as anyone who has tried to sell a Bill's Hat or Max's Head knows, the price sometimes has to go down a bit in order to sell it, when there are so many sellers and not many buyers.
In this case, the crate #40 sells for 10 keys, sometimes for 11 keys, but not really for 12 keys. I don't think 'quickbuyers' should be a type of sale. It either sells, or it doesn't sell for a certain price. 'Quickbuyers' & 'lowballs' are just opinions, and we should try to stay impartial about actual trading prices.
The fact that I bought three within hours of opening the trade, and received an add asking me to buy a crate for 10 keys several more hours AFTER closing that trade, should make it obvious that people are struggling to sell for higher.
IDK, just sold mine for bills + 4 keys. (12 keys.)
Neutral on this one.
I sold 8 Crate 40's for 14 each in servers 8 days ago.
So why haven't you posted to raise to that?
Good question. You have no idea what I have been through recently in TF2. Just getting back into the swing of trading. The few minutes I have I come here and vote.
I'm so sorry for your backpack's loss. May crate #40 stop dropping, so your backpack can start on the road to recovery.
That's hard to believe, do you have screens?
IDK....I sold mine for 11 keys just yesterday....and the guy now is reselling it for 12 keys :|
Successfully?
For 12 keys? IDK. He sold one for 12 keys......then he bought one from me for 11 keys....and now is again rying to sell one for 12 keys. I dont think it might fetch 12 keys that.....I didn't really care much for his trade
but I think it can get 11 keys (it took me a day) and 10 in quicksell/insta trade. I got V. Luger + 1 key and another White Bills offer within minutes of putting up the trade
i have multiple offers on my crate for between 11 and 13 keys in items. just because there are a bunch of quick buyers trying to buy for 9 and 10 keys does not mean the price needs to come down.
There are like 20 trades bumping offering 10 keys.
Been rejecting 11 key offers and selling at 13 keys each
I'm upvoting this from my own experiences selling crate 40's. I opened a trade selling for 12 keys for several days and did not receive a single offer. I then opened a trade selling for 11 keys and left it open for 2 days: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6883012
Again, I did not receive a single offer at the price I was asking. I eventually gave in and sold my 11 crate 40's @ 10 keys each yesterday in one shot to someone who was bulk buying.
I just don't think this item has any demand beyond people who are trying to buy cheap simply to hoard them in anticipation of them being retired.
10 is possible, 12 is possible, but harder.
Wish y'all would stop beating around the bush and suggest 10-12 already.
