Look at all the offers these people are getting. I've offered people as high as 40 dollars in steam games and have been rejected on the amount, not just because it's not in irl dollars or keys.

That last link only has a guy saying 'I'll pay your buyout in paypal money for the bonk' and I realized now that he changed his thread, but he had it listed at $69, I kid you not. This guy then went around offering 1 bud + 1 white bill + a few keys on a few of the trades, but he hid some of his posts (link 3 still lists his offer up top)

Link 3 should have taken these offers a long time ago if 20-26 was accurate.

Link 2 has a bunch of offers all over this page, the most prominent being 40 keys.

Link 1, the very 1st hidden post he's offered 1.5. no other comment on the page is related to the bonk helm, so I assume he took that offer.

I've noticed these are hard to get at the current range too. Sad, because I also want one.

I think a range is needed though, pretty sure the 1.5 offer was a while ago and if you have this hat you can expect offers of 1-1.5. Up to you if you agreeeee.#

alright, if you have something to back that up with sales or multiple offers for less that aren't getting hidden and are actually considered, go right ahead.

I wish I could buy one for less, but people just aren't taking it, in fact they want more than 1.5 in some of these cases, most people won't go too far above 1.5 though, with a few exceptions.

Edit: just offered someone the equivalent of 28 keys for the hat, if she sells it to me for that, then i'll close this and add the range

The trade you are offering in is selling this hat for 40 keys. That's 1.33-1.4 buds as a buyout. And the seller is saying they might lower the price after you have said 40 keys is not a quicksell???

So basically you're saying to her 40 keys is too much, whilst also trying to raise the price at the same time. Seems fishy to me mate.....

of course im saying that to her if i want to buy the hat for less :s it's called haggling, you make any excuse for getting them to lower their top dollar and get a better deal. i could go up, she could go down.

And if you want to get technical, 40 keys would be 1.43-1.48

27x1.5= 40.5 28x1.5= 42

You know, if they sell it to you for the B/O or under it proves your suggestion to be wrong. The fact that you think you can haggle under a B/O that's already less than 1.5 kinda proves you actually think the price is less than 1.5 (or at least can be).

Interesting how the 40 key B/O evidence didn't make it here until I looked. Even though you're 100% aware of seeing as you're offering on it and it's very very important/good evidence. This is what I meant by fishy.

Your evidence does maybe sort of prove 1.5 could happen but it's also pretty obvious that offers dry up after 1.33ish with the many 1buds+bills (retracted) offers.

I already made offers on the other trades for the same or maybe a little more, and was rejected.

Actually, it's not misinformation it is very basic logic. Try to price things based on what it can be got and sold for, not on what you feel you want it to be worth when you get it.

A range is needed if it can be picked up for under 1.5, which is what you believe. I'm not sure why this is being argued about.

And if you'd listen to what I'm saying I actually agree that 1.5 can be reached looking at your evidence. I'm just saying it's ridiculous that I had to go out and find the trade you're actually offering on, to see that it's B/O is lower. So why leave it out? help me understand why it's not for personal gain :)

And I'd like to pick it up for less, but I'm not sure that's even feasible, I'm trying to buy it for less, and if I do, I'll close this and add it, but in the mean time, I've been shot down for less than 1.5 and so have a lot of others.

The b/o is not lower, this is your misinformation that I keep downvoting you for. It's between 1.4-1.5 depending on if you value buds at 27-28 keys. I did the math up above for you, what the hell? Can you not arithmetic?

What is all this baseless accusations you're making against me too :s how many times do I have to say it, I'm a buyer, I'll pay less if I can, doesn't look like I'll be able to, I'll need to beef up my offer somewhere.

I'd have upvoted if you'd have provided the 40key B/O proof, and set the range to the 1.4-1.5 you've already worked out. As it is the 1.5 flat suggestion seems wrong because of any lack of range, because of the 1.4-1.5 B/O and the many 1.33 offers that don't go higher.

So yeah, it looks bad to me to not include this other really great proof, and I just cant figure out why it wouldn't be included.

also, she basically rejected it. I said the same thing to a different guy about a different item a week ago. I'm not taking his offer, i'm just leaving it up there so people will offer more than that. she's doing the same with me. She's not gong to take it unless 0 people offer her anything else or the only other offers she gets are for less. It will be a minimum of a week before she comes back to me if either one of those conditions are met.

I agree, I think if you'd offer maybe 1.33 in promo/key (on this apparent 1.5 hat) you'd get it for this exact reason. Nobody else will come along and beat it.

What? Why did you assume 25 keys is 1.5 buds :S That's really weird how you thought that. 1.5 would be 40-42 keys, depending how you value buds (27-28). I'm saying the old price of 20-26 gets shot down immediately (look at any post made by Mex, he links to the page here and gets hidden most of the time without reply), they're demanding over a bud and getting offers around that much. Also, 1.5 is one of the only ones with some proof of sale on it, the rest are just offers people made and got rejected.

It'd be great if this could be put in as a range, something along the lines of 1.33-1.66. As it stands, this has proven to be more accurate than current range. Multiple offers above 1 bud, a very recent sale at 1.5 buds exactly. Putting through.
