I'm guessing a new set of strange festives, (possibly) a re-crate of the old ones (again, possibly) or new stranges like you said: spy-cicle, or just new weapons and strange variants.

I don't doubt that they will be in this price range eventually, but you have given zero reasons as for why to set it now.

Umm check outpost. Ive had them up there for hours and tons of others up there as well. I have purchased 5 and also purchased 2 nice crates on outpost.

They will appear as a ? and are not searchable. Just keep clicking the homepage and you will see them being added etc.

They are averaging between 2 rec and a ref but that will fluctuate.

Valve i=has been known to troll from Re-Releasing Stranges to Delaying Announced Games. Then again, they are a business, so I hope they'll do what's best for everyone. No idea whatsoever that is. Also, I'm not voting until I see some proof.

I've been paying a ref for the past hour and got 10+

1 rec is already too much for how many of these crates will be found.

Key words: "will be found." "will be" There aren't enough of these going around yet compared to the amount of people who want them for it to be only 1 rec or lower. Prices here are based on what buyers and sellers are agreeing on right now, not in the future.

where is the proof?

This has been exactly the trend for all past crates during holidays. they sell .33-1 refined before saturation, then .11-.33 when theres more but still high demand, then .11 - nothing. This needs a price right now, and the price can always be changed in a day. upvote

Specialty crates like this always follow the same pattern- on day 1 or 2 the demand is insanely high, then as they start dropping "normally" or drop "like crazy" the price comes crashing down.

IMO it doesn't make sense to keep updating the prices every 12 or so hours. The starting price of the crates should usually be between .3 and 1 ref, and unless the crates show some sort of high desirability or low drop rate, the price would only really drop from there.

Just sold 2 for 1 ref. I think a steady price is .66-1 Refined, but we should let it settle first before we accept it.

.33 to .66 is more accurate for right this second. It will likely drop to around 1 reclaimed but .33-.66 it can be bought and sold for easily.

I'm upvoting just because .33-1 ref is reasonable. I know some people will spend 1 ref too because I sold one for more than that already.

I believe this will soon settle for 1 reclaimed, like last year. But maybe people in knowledge of what happened to the festives last year will make it .66-1 refined. So far I'm seeing 1 refined to even a key for sellers, buyers are buying at a scrap to reclaimed or two.

but let me bet the nice guy: get some proof. Also, if a ton of people will get it demand and supply could be high. resulting in the crate being worth no more than .22

i ve seen a dumbass buying a nice one for a key ( and by dumbass i mean kid) and then crying in the server that he have been sharked so please wait a bit before giving these crates such a high value on certain trade server they are going for scraps but you ll always find a kid to whom you may sell it for a ref or more.

Unlike the naughty winter crates that were released last year these ARE dropping more often now and a friend said he would give me one for free but i gave him a scrap anyway, also SPECULATION! NO! NO! NO!!! I was only in a trade server for a few minute yesterday but I saw somebody trying to sell them for a craft hat each, and from the short time i was there the offers he got were ranged from a rec to uncraftable hats, still no dice.

I'm gonna join a trade server soon then wait until later afternoon to check outpost to see offers for them to get some solid evidence. As for now do the smart thing and down vote.

Unlike the Winter crates from last year, these don't say "Festive" on them, so it's possible that the weapons in this crate aren't even Festive weapons and they could be something like Strange Wrap Assassin or Strange Pomson or other weapons nobody really cares about.

Until we know what's in the crate for sure, down vote.
