It isn't as simple as that, people find that keys replace ref better now theyre worth more so theyre stocking up or trying to sell off at higher prices. Think of it like the festives/B.M.O.C inflation in the summer.

Where is the inflation? We could also change 1$ to 1.22$ now. Then the keys would be cheaper. The only thing suffering would be all the beautiful items loosing value.

this is getting boring. Link 1,3,4 are OFFERING but nothing sold until now. Link 4 - sold 1 for 3.22. Doesn`t matter here but i would never pay more then 3ref for a key.

Check other trades on outpost, i saw one person sold about 20 keys for 3,33 each.

checked the "way overpriced bazaar" a bit:

Would probably have thought 3 - 3.22 would be better, since they're currently very difficult to sell at 3.33, although they're getting there. Also, fair warning, suggestions that raise the price of keys will get downvoted to hell.

The only reason keys are going up is because people like you are making them go up screw you >:(

The thing about keys is, people want them, people always want them. When you go to buy a key, you're competing in a sellers market.

So you can all whine about suggestions and get all teary-eyed nostalgic over an outdated, arbitrary value you've determined is the "right" price for a key, and while you do that there'll be another dozen eager buyers lining up to buy those keys for the price that's ultimately been decided by the market (not backpack.tf).

At this point in time, the suggested range seems entirely plausible. You don't have to like the suggestion, no one cares if you do, it's about whether or not the suggestion is credible.

That said, I'm not on the bleeding edge of the key market, so I'm abstaining from the vote. It's just getting really old seeing all this pathetic ranting about key prices.

I have linked several sellers lower than this, but juding by the current exponential key inflation/metal deflation rate, you're all going to buy them, hold onto them for a week, and sit on a 4 ref trade until the community finally caves in! They are just auto-bumped.

1.) You can't prove that he can't buy any at 3 ref, considering he's gotten no posts claiming they'd like to sell for higher.

2.) The trade has existed for a week. He restocks on thursdays, fridays, saturdays primarily, meaning you're not debunking this at all considering it's been bumped.

3.) Although I agree that link 3 isn't a very good link, it's the only one posted by a donor. The other two literally can't be auto bumped.

This goes beyond typical metal deflation now. If metal is losing value, then other items that can only be obtained from the store such as the tour of duty tickets would be raising in value, especially since they still have demand. This is just getting ridiculous. The price just updated to 3 ref not too long ago. I'm not so hot on the 3 ref price alone, but a suggested rise this quickly after? Why?

Guys, you all know that whatever we vote doesn't matter right? The admins will accept it anyway (they'll probably go with the 3.11-3.22 though, since its less drastic a change). All of those admins also just so happen to have plenty of keys.

Anyway, downvote. The last change was 15 hours ago, i highly doubt the average price of keys rose 1 scrap in less than a day. Sure they're rising (often these rises happen right after we raise the price here on backpack.tf as well, what a coincidence, right? /sarcasm), but its not happening that fast.

This is getting more ridiculous by the minute I think the keys should stay at a solid 3ref at Maximum. Peoples inventory are getting more exspensive due to the up rise in how much keys are. 3ref is way more flexible way simpler when doing trades. Overall a good standard price.

feel like the only way for the key price to stop rising is if valve has a sale on them in the store. pls save us
