tf2finance says 3.02 http://tf2finance.com/keys/ so this suggestion may be right, but im not in the mood to do any research and the other suggestion was accepted very recently, so im still downvoting
Even tho i tend to get keys ~2.66-2.88 [mostly 2.44 or 66]
]this is wrong and i know it. because on reddit and outpost there are lots of buyers who pay 3 ref for keys, 3.11 and even some at 3.22

because people voted wrong so they were all against. because they are people who want to manipulate the price to be less. and the admins who get the final say, that arent biased like voters, passed it.
people dont get it. this site is causing everything to increase. u see when keys were 2.88 on this site, people would sell for 3 ref. then the price on this site would be 3 refine and the process will continue and wont stop. you need to stay wit a price and stop changing it otherwise this will get out of hand. stay with 3 refine and stop changing the price. upvote from me.

wow really? that means that the admins arent listening which means they can just pretty much change it to their price.... i honestly think it should be at 3 ref. ( no offence to admins its just a thought)
Have you looked on outpost? Go find me five succesful and recent sales at 3 ref. I looked yesterday, found ONE in five pages. This is why the admins have the last say, because people freak out at the price going up, downvote, and nothing happens. If this site was entirely user based, all rare items worth about 2 keys would be worth 10 buds because of people who own them. The admins are doing a fine job.
Votes do matter.
They influence admin decision.
They give rep.
Show that you as a user are now accurate about your market knowledge.
Reasons to why suggestions with more down ores pass.
The suggested price is more accurate then then the previous price.
Votes can be biased and be not based on truth of the market
I think it's bs that admins have the ability to accept any price with a negative amount of votes, especially so high.
I don't. Usually the admins are fair and don't do it to increase the value of their own backpacks, unlike so many people here who do.
Instead of looking at how this site had 2.88 and sellers selling at 3 ref as causing it. Look at it how this site is lagging behind the rapidly increase key prices and trying to catch up with each suggestion.
but that isnt the case here. alot of people have been sayin this site is causing the incraeae of keys but there are many other reasons to. im just stating one. this site isnt lagging behind at all. the prices were fair at the start and the site was correct. but now its getting out of hand.
to sum it up. i just thnk we should keep 1 key price and leave it at that and stop changing it even when people decide to keep increasing the value and then after a few days or maybe even weeks, that price will sink in.
To be honest if the site does that. That'll be price manipulation done by the site. If people pay more/less, it should be shown. (And it is user who suggest them)
The site isn't suppose to dictate a firm price on any item. Doing that to keys shouldn't be an exception.
Tf2 is true to its free-market and trying to regulate and control a price on an item shouldn't be done by this site.

Because this base64 guy has some mathematical proofs about BPTF not influencing the key price.
isnt it obvious? its rite infront of ur eyes mate. lots have said so and if look at it closely it really is happening, im not gonna sit here and start explainign to u evrything and some proof becase there isnt any. its what im stating so deal with it mate. if u thoughts differ, then thats ur opinion. and yes, i can be wrong, but from what ive seen lately i doubt it.

Your community is actually scared and lost : too many suggestions for keys passed with negative score, while no one is explaining them why key prices are actually rising.
That is causing a horrendous amount of false statements, and worst of all, these little traders, who are the ones in need of the help from a price guide, lose faith in BPTF and turn themselves back to archaic price sheets.
This comment is not about key prices, they are following their natural course due to steam market opening and idlers. It's about your site that is getting to its first existential crisis.
So please, comfort your community, communicate more and guide them right.

I went on a trade server like you said, waited 5 minutes and saw someone BUYING for 3.11. Good luck with this suggestion, I really wish it was true, but it isn't.
