The funny thing is, although people can easily get 1 rec for these, many people sell to 2 scrap quickbuyers who flip them.
I'll check the buyers then.
Hmm

Why is the nice crate so unloved compared to the naughty crate?
Because people think that 'NAUGHTY CRATES HAZ WEPONS I LIEK WEPONS" while nice crates have hats, which usually go down to 1.33 eventually.
on the wiki, it says both crates have a chance of giving strange items. does that mean we get our first strange hat?
Strange hat: # of times user has been shot in head
Strange part for hat, would be cool but humiliating. Like the revenges part.
When people have revenge parts on their weapons, I don't think about the revenges had, I think about dominations.
- revenge parts guy: "I have 350 revenge kills on my rocket launcher and you're next!"
-other people thinking to themselves: "This guy has been dominated at least 350 times"
Exactly....
I want my hat to track how many kills I've gotten while wearing it.
I just sold 2 nice crates for 1 craft hat, and 1 nice crate for .66 ref after 2 minutes of searching.

They probably will fall, and soon, but not yet. Downvote.
Oh, and this shows that it was a craft hat: http://i.imgur.com/oB4e7.jpg
And here are some people I did not trade with buying for more than .33:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7056564 ==> .44 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7140298 ==> .66 ref
Check all the people adding the first guy. Second guy is just overpaying. If I had any I'd sell it instantly to him.
But they're easy to get for a rec. It's not a seller's market when there's such a large supply.
Clear they're easy to get for a rec.
From what I can see there are some sales at .22, but the buyers also flip them very quickly. Excluding the .22 and .44+ sales from the range seems to be accurate for now, considering how rare both are
