The BUYERS:
Buying for 3 ref each on the first page of the search:

buying for 3 ref on the second page of the search:

heres a 3.11 buyer (been up for weeks): http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6704209
Evidence for buyers at 3.22? Right here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7076935
Another 3.22 up for weeks: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6589633
3.11: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7113752

The trades above were on a simple search, and only 2 pages were looked at. I literally just clicked on the trades and linked to most of them. They are bought bye buyers at 3-3.22 ref each (although 3.22 is a bit rarer) now for the sellers.
Sellers:
3.44: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7065833
Buy/sell; 3/3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7147282 (sold 17 stock 0 bought 3)
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7079788
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7071969
Quickly within 1 minute people were trying to buy at 3 ref: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7212773
Someone failing but trying to sell at 3.44: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7183083

3.22: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7178565
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7203822
3.33 with offer of buying all at 3.22: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7104326
5 keys for 16 ref: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7210847 (thats 3.2)
3.22 + sold out: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7136776
Buy/sell at 3 ref/3.22 ref: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7099190
3.22 then raised price to 3.66: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7003618 (dont think he sold any at 3.66)
3.66 – no sales: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7185466
4 ref – no sales: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7209370
3.44: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6694162
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6764454
Tried 3.55 because 3.33 sold too quickly: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7135900
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7208111
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6752720
3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7203143
Failed at 3.66: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7207645
3.22 each: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7161529
3.33 each: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7213048
3.33 each: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7151286
3,44 each: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7009409
Sold out at 3.33: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7159120
3.44: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/5654145
Thus, they go for 3-3.22 by the buyers, and 3.22-3.44+ by the sellers.
Is it too much to ask for just one OP to use any of my trades in their proof? I mean seriously it's not too much to ask yet it still hasn't happened.
Anyways I am buying for 3.11 ref: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7103156
I am also downvoting because 3.33 ref is still slightly at the edge at this point and has yet to reach full capacity as being part of the average price of keys.
I only used two pages from each buyers/sellers trades. But the reason I put 3.33 as the higher end is because of a lot of sellers selling for around 3.33, and actually anything above 3.33 is on edge, and I believe there are some people having success with 3.44+ so I'd say 3.33 is a good higher end. also it should have a rec~ range since theres a difference between buyers and sellers.
Finance: 3.07 Ref
It is right, only according to outpost the key price would be 3.22-3.33. After refreshing the search page several times I finally found a 3.22 seller with 10+ in stock. He was sold out within minutes. All of those 3 ref or 3.11 ref sellers are added by 5 people within seconds.
But there are key trades on other places as outpost that seems to hold the price down.
I could agree with 3-3.22 but not with 3-3.33.
I will downvote here.
I find it hard to downvote that wall of text, no matter how much I want to...
I'd hold off. Normal keys are likely to go down due to hype over the Winter Keys (Naughty in particular)
Upboat. The speed at which 10 people added me for the current high end was incredible. You also have good proof.
Quote: Only way I see this getting downvoted is because people don't want buds to go down.
False. That is not the main reason why people would not want this suggestion to pass. Most people are upset about the sudden rise in keys and seeing as most do not own buds (community as a whole), the price of buds have little effect on the majority of voters for this suggestion.
I'm actually one of the people who think keys should not have rose in price. however I am also one of the people who think they have rose in price.
One thing worth noting is OP (original poster) is selling keys for 3.33 each.
figures on the day the world was supposed to end someone would bring up proof for raising the price of keys...
Why the fuck are you raising them? Aren't they high enough already? It's getting high enough as it is and really hard for me to buy keys. Stop being greedy.
I'm not raising them. I am updating the price set for them. if you want to see why I am updating the price, see the proof I listed in the comments.
why the key price will not change in a while: http://scrap.tf/
however 0 keys are available. 26 are reserved.
Now that scrap.tf is up with the key-bots, you can't raise the price anymore. Finally it will stop!
"KeyBanking is here! Sell us keys for 3 refined each, or buy from us for 3.11 each."
Downvote
hm ty for that linkz didnt knew it, but they have 0 keys availe :P
They had an overload, so they have some problems now ;)
however they are out of stock. unless they have a fair stock, 3-3.11 ref, is too low. however it should be in the range because sometimes they do have a stock. and when they do have a stock, they will also be sold out quickly.
they have problems because people know 3.11 is cheap, and people dont want to sell at 3 ref each. especially when you can sell for higher.
True, but I think that this system will be great to settle the price, it just needs time.
however, as of now, the price I am suggesting is correct.
closing due to scrap.tf
