Any pure offer in the suggested price range?
Well how often does someone get an entire pure offer on item in this price range? Most offers are in unusuals and the range I proposed doesn't include unusual overpay, which was the only reason the previous suggestion wasn't accepted.
Proof of past sales then?
First link states what the guy paid for his, if you backtrack through my trade you'll find it was valued at 20 in the trade in which I acquired it. If you believe this hat is 12-15 on the market you need a reality check. Got any proof that its current price is accurate and up to date?
Jeez, calm down. There's a sale QS 18 buds, no pure offer even close to it. Frankly is too easy to overpay in hats.
And you paid Burning Flamenco for this + 2 burning hats listed on your trade and you added something I guess? http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6885435 Still one of those hats was offered in conjunction to the flamenco. You say you got it in a trade valuing it at 20. So either you added a lot or just got lucky since flamenco sells for 20 pure.
Flamenco doesn't sell for 20pure unless the guy is more or less desperate for promos. I personally had two 20pure offers on separate occasions and declined both. The fact there are no offers is irrelevant; a vintage max head can go for months without an offer and just spam comments. You can see what the previous owner before me paid, but hey If you really want to keep this so low so that some unfortunate kid who unboxes gets ripped off, go ahead and downvote. Personally I sell without the assistance of the unusual prices on here, but since the newer traders require some guidance I felt it was necessary for the update. And if you had bothered to check the first link you would've seen how many people were supporting and suggesting 18-21 instead of the 18-25.
If you cant price the offers that the other owner who is not quickselling has got then that isn't my problem. Nobody will sell you this hat 15 yet alone 12 deal with it, even with traders bending over backwards for an offer of just pure.
TL;DR Poor kid story vs overvaluing own hat.
You bought flamenco for 19-20 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6023599
Sold for 20 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6542591
You still did not respond to my question what you bought it for. As it looks you sold it for unusuals valued upto 25, with 2 burning hats at 5 each and this one at 15. No reason to price it higher that 18. Change it to 15-18 and no poor kid will be ripped if that's your concern.
And no one supported 18-21 except 1 guy which isnt much at all.
I bought the flamenco for 20pure not 19-20 feel free to view what pool runners posted on his flamenco trade or contact the middleman of the trade venganza so lets get that straight first, which at the time was a great deal for me, the other owners told me that wouldn't consider less than 23 and actual discussions with experienced admins of unusual trading servers pc'd it at 25.
More than 1 person agreed with 18-21 on the previous suggestion if you read again, serial joe who has had an incredible amount of god tiers and scissors.
Gallus bought it for Moon Hwnn + Headcase + Stormy Brainiac + crate 40 + White Bills (which is more than 18 if you need help with prices). I sold the flamenco with unusual overpay for close to 30 to a burning collector, no reason for me to accept 25 in unusuals, when I was offered 20pure by staplegun and 20pure (gathering) by a guy called orange something.
Now if you take a look at some offers that these have been getting to say they fall in the range of 15-18 would be highly undervaluing them, e.g scorching bubblepipe. I do agree in the past week or 2 the offers have dried up, but that doesn't deter from the value of the hat. For example took me 2 months to sell a beams attendant and its price didn't move.
If you honestly believe you can get this 15 then I don't know how to break the news to you. Who knows maybe if you get 17 in pure and offer you might get it from a guy quickselling since the weight of such an amount of promos is hard to resist. But on average people will not settle for outside the range of 18-21
Oh funny enough Jon a well known entrepreneur in tf2, a man who deals a lot with buying bp's and reselling, has offered 15pure on the chef hat which is being quicksold. If a man that has based himself in the constant reselling for profit is willing to pay 15pure then surely that means the hat is and does go for more.
Yeah totally a 21 bud hat.
16 buds sold http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7307504
Suggested price out of range of recent sales including yours.
Yep sold within a day... I swear it's almost as if you have some personal vendetta against this suggestion. The guy is clearly looking to cash out some or most of his stuff and is offering some sweet prices, he's selling a beams Bonk Boy for 14.
Still out of the past 3 sales, we have 2 sales in my price range and 1 quicksold for under my price range. Seems reasonable to think my range is still accurate, as quicksell prices are meant to below market price.
Accepting, range is definately LOW. Remember, with expensive hats, getting legitimate and reasonable offers takes 10x longer than your usual 1-2 bud hat. And unusual offers are the accepted norm, a very small percent has 15+ buds sitting around. Usually they are sold for $$$ which is hard to trace.
