Proof of these "offers"
They've all been hidden, and there are none for sale on outpost to link to.
I donated the hat to my friend for his raffle.
Well a couple things,
First of all, i just checked your outpost trades, and i didnt see a SINGLE offer on it.... and without proof then you really can't price it.
AND, if none are for sale then there is no reason to price it.
"they've all been hidden"
And I'm not trying to change the market. Just trying to keep the price updated.
>not trying to change the market
>bumping the price 10-13 keys
> no evidence
honestly.
i lol'd. luf you for saying that
yea exactly why im going to downvote
I have evidence I donated it, but that's about it.
I can show you guys that i bought it for a bud and a bills too but that doesn't do much.
At least i'm not trying bump prices down on a high commodity item without proof
"I have evidence [that I won't show you. ;)]"

http://i.imgur.com/kSdB0.png guess i paid a couple more keys than i remember
Just because you over payed doesn't mean the price should change.
going to reply here since reply's ran out.
@simon the giver
The hat was price checked by multiple people on other websites for 1.5-2 at the time of the purchase. I wasn't worried about what one dude thought on this site.
But since i've started to use this website more I thought I would update the price.
I could say that somebody who hid their offer had offered 1000 buds for all you know.
that's swell
Ok you actually paid more than 1.3 buds for this. Could you show the trade where you bought it from?
Current price could be way wrong.
Can't seem to find it.
but i found an old trade with 1bud + sweets. this is around the same time as the first PC on this hat.

A bad situation here. We know that the old price is/was wrong. When did you bought it? 3 months ago?
I think we have to wait until someone enteres the market again to justify a price change, since it could not done with tier comparison.~
Honestly I don't see how this hat is worth 1-1.4 buds, especially when the previous was 16-20. Nuts n Bolts goes for 13-16 and even the orbiting fire only goes for 14-18. Quite frankly it's an ugly, pink hat with a low end effect and most of the people I know are far less interested in spy hats than Solly, Demo, Sniper or even Medic.

You pretty much lost what little credibility you had with this. You're coming onto -this- website...saying two other sites say differently and "I don't care what one dude thought on this site". SIMULTANEOUSLY -- you expect everyone on -this- site to take the word of you, one dude, to account for a boost in the price. You show no decent proof, and expect a trade over 5 months old to account for a current price when Keys were SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper and the hat was likely much more rare than it is now.
Do you not see the monstrous hole in this logic?
I stated it was an old trade.
backpack.tfs price-check is low compared to offers that occurred at roughly the same time as the pricecheck.
Keys were cheaper in terms of metal, not actual cash money.
I never stated that keys were cheaper in terms of cash...the metal speaks for itself. Frankly, the differences in keys/buds alone is enough to disprove the logic that this hat is worth significantly more -without- pointing out that it was rarer 5 months ago.
I do agree that the unusual values on tf tend to be low...and I honestly find the recent trend of unusuals having consistently lost value over the last 4-6 weeks disturbing...particularly while keys go up. I have noticed that the lower value unusuals tend to lose value more often than those most people can't afford (and thus bid on), bias is prevalent because it's an obvious and common occurrence in the world regardless of the theatre. With the addition of holiday-only unusual effects and the continual degradation of old unusual prices when keys go up it's not unlikely for the entire Tf2-conomy to hit a rough patch. I mean who wants to use keys if they continuously go up in price while unusuals continuously drop to the point that they'll not be worth all that much more than some of the genuine or vintage items?
But the bottom line is clear; this hat should definitely be worth less than 16-20 keys now if anything, not higher. It's not a high-level effect, I've seen no proof that flies on -any- class have become more sought after and even with a decent effect this hat is pretty cancerific.
