I don't believe a single price value is good. A range is better. Downvote.
Keys definitely trade in a range, especially now when the price is so changeable, so a single price isn't good, IMHO. Have to downvote this, sorry.
Not to say the current range is very accurate. When I wanted a few ref and foolishly posted keys at 3.22 ref on TF2OP recently, there were so many buyers adding me that I had to fight them off with a rusty shovel. True story.
Scrap.tf buys them for 3 ref too, so your point is invalid

Note that scrap.tf hasn't had any keys in stock for an extremely long time. It's because 3.22 is so cheap for keys.

idk there's never any keys whenever i check, and even so the rarity shows that the price at that rate is rare, and backpack.tf represents the majority of trade prices

Been trying to buy for 3.11 ref for a few days now. Almost impossible.
I think 3.22-3.33 is a good price range. There are far too many trades at 3.33 to make this price just 3.22. Rarely, trades at 3.22 occur, and they are sold out instantly.
Notice how all the previous suggestions get negative scores but still accepted o.O
It's because the suggesters have valid points and links, but nobody wants to see keys go up in price.
Why would you put YOLO in your suggestion. People will not take you seriously and downvote this suggestion to hell. You have shyt evidence and you already raised the key price to 3.11.

P.S. These sell all over the place, so a suggestion with no range is unacceptable.
This suggestion is within the CURRENT range. People need to STOP making suggestions that are in the CURRENT range. Why you ask? Because the price is ALREADY listed in the CURRENT range. What a waste of everyone's time to even read suggestions like this. DOWNVOTED because this is ALREADY in the listed price range.
I can't take anyone seriously that puts YOLO in anything. Current range is fine, it doesn't need increasing anymore.

"We" do not control the TF2 Economy and rising prices don't "destroy an economy", in fact they indicate a thriving economy. Supply/Demand dictate price and we aren't "letting" anything happen. The purpose of the site is to track current pricing, whether it benefits you or not.
Solution to problem: Stop buying keys at 3.22, eventually people will lower thier price to sell keys. People care too much about opening crates and normally getting nothing rather than caring about the inflation they are causing.

scrap.tf DOES sell out almost instantly when there's keys. However, I see people selling on servers for 3.22 ref... for profit. I also see people selling keys on servers for 3.11 ref from time to time (they must be converting keys to metal, not trying to make a profit). however, the less keys there are in the market as more and more people unbox, the higher the price will be. keep it at 3.11-3.22 ref.

scrap.tf isn't the only place that buys and sells keys. Their stock of keys is tied to trader traffic--when lots of people are online, they have more keys in stock. Just because they don't have any stock the one or two times you check every day doesn't mean they never do.
Please provide more than 2 trades and a website to support your future suggestions.
