Sellers are only half the market: please provide examples of buyer trades too
Completed trades are examples of an agreement between buyer and seller. Searching sellers of shades on OP shows many completed trades at their price of 2 refined. Still, concrete proof for you:

http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=8849916 (2ref)

Unfortunately searches on OP for buyers pretty much all turn up all shitty craft hat buyers that get ignored (obviously), and we can't see completed trades for people who only wanted a pair of shades, whether this would complement my proof or detract from it.
I own a pair, upvoted

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7485885 (Got offered 1.66)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7501526 (Selling for 1.66)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7465695 (Sold for 1.66)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7503188 (Sold for 1.77)
Conclusion: The price range is completely fine. People still sell this at 1.66~2 Refined each.
It was a joke, but that would be nice for my bp to rise 20 cents
All of those shades have sold. That is inconclusive as to whether this is worth 2 refined or not.
I'm having a hard time finding these for 2 refined, let alone 1.66: http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/65668888
