I just thought about reconfirming. My conclusion was it should be done to get rid of the warning sign.^^
So I'll upvote.
This reconfirming stuff is getting kinda old :P but hey you seem to know your stuff so whatever. upvote.
Haha.^^ I'm not sure if the mods accept this though. ;)
good think my main reason was to raise the low end :P
The problem is that unusuals after a certain period of time get a little warning sign next to their price and some traders see that and think, Oh that price is old therefore it must be wrong so i'm going to make up some bullshit price. Reconfirming gets rid of that warning sign and any doubt of the hats current value. (Also i'm raising the low end a bit since its fairly easy to get a 2 bud offer).
I just feel like when people do this it's rep whoring. I have half of mine right now to spend the next 3 hours going through every unusual to "reconfirm" them.
