http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/952/6/0 also one for sale at 1.5 keys

WH also seems to have a few at 15870c, and I found these TF2TP links http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=8903224 - 4 ref http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=8897576 - 4 ref http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=8895009 - 4 ref

Not a large number of these on Outpost at the moment and the lowest price you'll find is 2 keys. Despite that, 2 keys is very easy price to find making it the high end of the price range.

"Despite that, 2 keys is very easy price to find making it the high end of the price range."

huh? it doesnt matter what people ask for, only what they actually get.

Well, some have sold for 2 keys and scarcity makes the lowest price on Outpost a reasonable high end.

Sure thing, but without any sales for 1,5 Keys, no reason to put it there.

I hate that too, i had to search though dozens of Outpost pages to set a Halloweenhat from 2.66 to 2.00-2.33 while i was sure no one would really pay that much unless he is in a hurry, but hey; i had no proof.

We all know people would sell for 1.5 Keys if we would set a new Item to 1.5 Keys, but thats still not how it works, right?

So pls make it 2 flat or take my downvote

They don't seem to pull 2 keys readily. Making the price 2 keys flat would not accurately reflect what people are paying.

But we have no proof that any can buy them for lower, right?

Find me some Trades where buyers paid anything lower then 2 Keys and got their Stuff and i will happily upvote...

1.5 keys is speculation based on lack of sales at 2 keys. A half key spread is reasonable on a item that is new and still settling in price.

Pinpointing a price on an item that is still settling in price would not be prudent.

                  Ok well then.

So i can see this as a backpack.tf rule, confirmed by an Admin?

Would make changing prices for older "new" Items which are not very often traded much easier.

There is no science to price tracking. We do the best we can with whatever knowledge, experience and data that is available to us.

No price should ever be considered final and absolute, but merely accurate for that point in time.
