I don't seem to understand what you are talking about. I opened a trade selling keys at 3 refined, and they sold VERY easily! The key price should go down because they are selling at this price very easily.

Here's the thing, its almost impossible to buy at 3 ref. I've had a trade open for 10~ days bumping hourly, and i've purchased about 11~ keys.

Scrap.tf pays 3.11 and can't keep them in stock, and there are a bunch of buyers buying at 3.11 (on OP), as well as buyers buying at 3.22. (to clarify i mean buying trades) And then there are buyers who will pay 3.33 (offer on selling threads).

3.33 sell quite quickly. 3 sell instantly. 3.11 sell instantly. and 3.22 sell a bit slower than instantly.

Same thing as if I sold buds for a key. No kidding it sells easily. The price is supposed to reflect what most people sell for though, excluding outliers. You can't change a price just because you sell for cheaper

I have a trade opened for 2 weeks and sold ~550 keys for 3.33 ref.

I don't quicksell. I have been selling at 3 ref ever since the price started going from 3 ref ^. 3 ref is what I count a key as, and it is going to stay that way for me until keys go the fuck down.

Well too bad cos from the look of things it probably won't, like charkoal said of course you are going to sell you're keys because you are pricing it lower than everybody else, you are however just one guy, price suggestions is to reflect the entire market and not just you.

I'm just going to leave it at this, and see what the rest of the sheep think. It is becoming very hard for me to buy things because people think keys are worth 40,000 ref and more. Stop this fucking nonsense.

Do you think I enjoy the price of keys rising? I don't think keys are or should be worth so much. However, opinions don't matter. Backpack.tf represents facts of trade, hard evidence, whether we like the price or not.

In no way am I trying to sound mean. Sorry if I did; I'm simply expressing my viewpoint on the price of keys. Like I said before, I really don't like how the price is rising either, but what happens is what happens, and unless trades show that the price is decreasing, then it can't be changed.

If they sold easily doesn't mean it should drop to it. It sold too easily and fast meaning you sold very low.

A lot of people can sell bills at 7 keys easily and buds at 23 keys easily but doesn't mean that's their price.

If it took you forever on continued bumps I would say yea makes sense it got hard to sell higher so lower it.

I can sell keys at 3.33 steady but not at all at 3.44.

I can get keys steady at 3.22 but in in very small numbers below that.

I observe both facts for five days without much change.

Therefore I object. Keys are 3.22-3.33, maybe 3.17-3.33. But not 3.11-3.22.

Of course you can sell quick if you sell below the current price. If you see an apple for 2 dollars, and another apple of the exact same quality for $1.49, which one will you take? The cheaper one of course. Downvoted.
