Well, you have got proofs and I upvoted! By the way; Next time, add more proofs. In the comments then. Add Proof of people Buying at your price, selling at your price and trying to sell it higher but fail at it. But hey, you didn't mess up and I will give an upvote!

i feel like this could go for lower. since buyers are still doubtful on accepting offers of 5 keys, but i couldn't find any lower offers, so had to go with that :/ and thanks i'll do those next time :D

well he does have one :/ i dont think anyone would like it if the value of their item was dropping. and im guessing he paid alot for it too

they are exactly as rare as the old strange festives at the moment, I got lots of good offers coming in every now and then (2.5 Buds, 3 Buds for the entire set, N&B Snaggle for the Huntsman,etc.) and they're definitely going up in a few days..obviously that's not the use of this website, but whatever, I do what I want..also I don't want to support the lowballing greedy ppl who buy these to sell them for insane prices later and rip off the poor guys who are too stupid to realize they're being gutted

but the thing is, there are sellers WILLING to sell for 5 keys, no one's ripping them off. the sellers offer the price willingly, if you looked at my links, and even then they are having trouble selling.

this is just the same argument over and over..I'll write the same thing when I don't have one because I simply disagree..and they are pretty much equally rare, a small difference like 500 or so makes no difference whatsoever..it's about demand and supply and right now backpack.tf is manipulating both and these guys have no idea they're getting ripped off, because they panic (like me last year)..having been in trading for long enough and not caring about profit anymore I can tell u with absolute confidence, that these will be worth a lot more in 2-3 months and I don't give 1 shit that they're dropping right now, cuz I'll just wait and see how u guys will raise their price, just like u dropped it now..again..I DON'T CARE..hell, make them 1 key if u want to

"theyre dropping right now" that's all that matters because we have to show current common price, not some assumed future price. Who knows when and how much these will go up, they might only go up a little bit. I'm sure they won't rise like the 2011 festives.

By your ideas anyone who ever sold an item, at the current price at the time, were ripped off if later it rose, we can't assume a item will have a big increase months ahead of time.

And yes there is demand for these festives but not in which people who want the item are willing to dump a lot more keys then they feel they have too.

And we can't go and suggest this to be 1 key and have it pass. They only way this item will be 1 key is if the majority on sellers/buyers are making transactions at the price. This site will only list the common amount an item sells at, not some desired or assumed price.

Edit: go have fun waiting forever to get more then what you paid and your desired amount for your 2012 sf set. I can see why you aren't happy about these not being as high as you expected.

I'm not 100% sold on having it at 5 keys flat, but it looks like it needs a decrease in price.

its not really exactly 5 keys flat, but majority are at 5 keys, but even at that price sellers are having trouble selling them

have to agree bought one for 5 keys then later I was offered another one for 5 keys

Thing is all the proof is from the buyer's perspective, which is skewed toward lower prices. Got any proof that involves a person actually selling and not buying?
