Those people selling at 5 keys are highballing. Most decent people would sell at 3 keys. Tf2 Outpost is down, if not, I would show you this guy buying festive scatter at 2 keys, then sell at around 5 keys.

There should be a list of backpack.tf commandments:

1. Proof is required

2. Proof must be recent

3. Buyouts do not matter

4. Supply and Demand matters

5. Item rarity doesn't mean anything

6. Quicksellers/Quickbuyers are the spawn of satan

7. Minisentries are OP

Proof is required and must be timely (recent, happening after last price check at the very least.)

If rarity doesn't matter, then why in the world the Uncraftable Hitman items are so high price, yes i know there like 200 and less of each, but no one buys them at 8 keys. Please answer, i need an answer.

its not that rarirty doesn't matter, but people have the tendency to say an item is worth a fucking fortune because only x exist.

Rarity to some extent does matter, but its not an argument, in itself, that can be used as proof for a suggestion. i.e. bmocs and ebenezers are FAR rarer than buds yet buds are still worth a lot more.

bmoc--16 keys--15,000 exist

ebenezer--4.5 keys--14,000 exist

Buds--26 keys--54,000 exist

So why? its because rarity means nothing on its own.

Stop giving us unsold seller links and give us sold seller links.

What happened to the part where this site operates on what a price is, not what you think it should be. Ever thought that maybe the rocket launcher needs to go down in price?

Doesn't really matter if it doesn't sell for more than 3 keys.

For Festive Scattergun? Nope. My counter-proof will still make that unjustifiable.

this is actually quite funny as there are only 20-25% more festives from the current season as compared to last yet the price difference is nearly 600%. genius traders.
