"Okay, they sell at 1.66, but please provide some proof of them selling consistently at 1.88, or re-list this as 1.66 flat"
Since I've been quoted in both ticket suggestions, I'm going to let a different mod handle these to avoid bias on my part.
Just because because I'm a mod doesn't mean my opinion is any more valuable than anyone else's.
I wouldn't do such a thing.
Showing successful sales at 1.66 refined does not disprove sales at 1.88 refined.
Show me some unsold at 1.66 refined, then I will consider 1.88 as too high. As it stands, you have only demonstrated that 1.66 refined is a good low end.
I want to close this, but it seems to have an overwhelmingly positive vote from the community, yet there's no evidence provided in these comments to support a flat 1.66 refined price.
It's an average price. I've bought over a hundred this week and I never, ever pay 1.66 or more. Some at 1.33, some at 1.55, some at 2/key.
You can't base it solely on what is happening on outpost.
Do you know why 1.88 or higher is completely idiotic price to pay for tickets? I can buy a key for 3.22. Sell it on the Steam market for $1.85 easy and then use that to buy tickets from the store. It gives you a rough conversion of 1.72 refined per ticket that way.
Even if that is true, it does not void the fact that people can sell these for 1.77 - 1.88 refined within a day of listing them. In which case, the range should be 1.55 - 1.88 and not 1.66 flat.
Dude those were my proof AF2 Spark just copied me! http://backpack.tf/vote/id/50e0ffc3ba25367313000002
Pretty good proof, upvote.
thanks mate :D
Scrap.tf are buying and selling tickets for 1.33
with no tickets ever going in or out.
Decent proof, but I personally would like to see a bit of proof of them not selling at higher or even lower. I'm gonna stay neutral on this for now.
It's better than 1.66-1.88. I really don't care anymore though.
good proof and good reason
upvote
I'd like some proof of people struggling to sell at higher/lower prices, but whatever, right now this is the best.
If tl_34_96 says it, it must be true. xD
the big site scrap.tf sells them for 1.33 but 1.66 is what others sell for
They actually don't sell them for 1.33 as they don't have any to sell.
I just sold one for 1.88, it took about a minute.
Therefore, this is an easy downvote.
:/ I sold a ticket for 1.33 Ref, People are still asking me about it now! These are in high demand, so I guess the price should go up to at least 1.66 - 1.88, But definitely not over that.
makes sense, these things are sold usually in butt loads. So if you price them too much. people will lose interest in buying in quantities, and we all know 1 is usually not enough for a botkiller. (which is why we all buy them in he first place)
just sold about 25 tickets at 2 ref each... downvote
