link 1 c/o of vivid plasma sola topi and tf logo raincatcher which adds up to less than 2 buds
listed that :3
so then why isn't the lower side like 1.9?
because the lower end of the range isn't supposed to be the lowest offer (most unusuals get lowballed to shit all day long).
The lower end is what is easily attainable (aka an offer that occurs numerous times and is at least in the ball park). [slightly higher than a quicksell]
The upper end is what can be obtained with a little patience. (aka the highest offer made) [usually slightly lower than or equal to reasonable buyout].
even if you think that it shouldn't be the lowest price doesn't mean that the lower range is .6 buds more
actually it kinda does, there are enough offers around 2.5 to make it the lower the end of the range. (i.e. there are enough 2.5 bud offers that theres no reason for a seller to take any less)--which is pretty much what the value means.
I'm a little new to this so try and help me understand, but I though the value was based off what it sold for and what the lowest price is, as in I can offer 10 keys for a hat but if it's selling for 30, and the lowest price is 30, its worth 30? I mean this as a sincere question.
buyouts really mean nothing, and tbh so do offers.
What matters is successful offers. (i.e. i can set a buyout on steaming ol geezer at 100 buds--yet it'll never happen even if it was 1 of 1; alternativel i can offer 1 bud on a burning team captain--yet it will never happen).
Look at my comment right about your post (directed @ thermal), it should explain it further.
ok so its highest value is based on successful offers, and its lowest value is based off of a bit more then quick sell, I had it other way around where low was based of successful trades and high off of b/o's just made sense in my head.
