Most offers are between 2.33 and 2.66 or a bit more in items. A key is actually becoming common for this. I guess everyone is trying to get rusts or carbonados so silver is going up? I dont know...And yes some are old trades, but they have recent willing buyers.

its only a matter of time b4 valve stops dropping Bk's and they end up going up.

I doubt they will. It's part of a permanent game mode, and it's something you have to pay for to get anyways. That would be like Payload dropping off the face of the earth in a new update, they're here to stay.

What they might do, however, is make Mk I's stop dropping with the introduction of more Mk II's or maybe Mk III's.

MK. II is a reward for a completely separate section within the Minigame, I don't see why they would do that. Then again, Valve has done some crazy stuff before.

They'd do it so the price on Mk I doesn't become shit. If Mk I's stopped dropping, their price would go up since A. supply is now limited, and B. people will want them solo because they are limited edition.

              exactly.

And i'm willing to bet valve will eventually stop dropping em.

Toaster, I doubt they'd do it for price. They're the same people that made everything bought from the store craftable.

So now uncraftables are considered collectors items and having a dirty items are limited edition. And remember those supply crate 30 and 40's that contain stranges that they have guaranteed will never drop again? Valve does like to influence the price of things. I'm still waiting on what 50 will drop.

Anyone who thinks "uncratables are collectables" will be sticking to their guns for years before they raise value by a scrap. You're hoping for an uncalled doomsday of the market to save you, you're sticking to unprovided theories, there isn't proof 50 will EVER drop, nor is there any that Uncraftables will ever be worth anything.

                      1. You should really be paying more attention to the uncraftables market then, as the prices change in it just like in any other market.

                      2. Don't know what this uncalled doomsday of the market is, nor how it would save me.

                      3. Unprovided theories doesn't make sense as they are obviously provided theories since people (Awesome McCoolName and I, for example) have provided them. If you meant "unproven theories" then I must state A. Oxymoron and B. We have offered our reasoning.

                      4. It is already known that Crate 50 will drop. What's unknown is what will be in it.

                      5. Uncraftables are already worth something (normally hovering around the range that the unique version goes for).

                        Where exactly is that guaranteed?

You'd have to comb back through Valve response threads on the steam forums. But it was a question constantly asked to them before and that was there answer.

valve didn't stop uncraftables so they would go up. they stopped uncraftables to encourage people to buy hats from the store. And valve added the salvaged crates to encourage people to buy more keys.

They would probably stop making Mk. I and make Mk. III the scout head on the original maps, so that gives people a reason to buy tickets again.

                    I now have 18 notifications, thanks :D

Just an update, I sold two of these in a couple hours at 2 ref each, they go like hotcakes. I bought at 1 ref, so its all good.

I'm guessing the Mk II botkillers affecting the price of Mk I.

Who is this Mr. Proof and why does he want to raise botkillers?

Mr proof needs to be introduced to most suggesters on this site.

Also met Mr. Proof, he told me the same with the carbo one, about 10 days ago. Nice guy btw

Maybe Bk miniguns selling that good as the "normal" strange is more expensive, contrary to flamethrower, stickylauncher....

Thats what I was thinking. They're a substitute to the normal S. Minigun, but when that is re-released (which it will be, seeing the current trend) they will crash.
