There are quite a bit selling for 7 keys, but your links are quite new.
If you get a bit more proof I agree
Link 1 has been hit.
thanks :D, but it only means that it sells in my suggested range... :).
1. you have no range.
2. The fact that has been hit does not support your claim more than it did before.
1 of 5 links has been hit in the current range. look below me and i found someone who put their post up for a week at 8 keys, and no hits at all.
Do you have any examples of 8 keys not selling?
EDIT: I say this because your current proof does not disprove the old price range (as 7 is within it).
you really want me to do this? fine haha xD
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6996961 - 8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7716621 - 7
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7451772 - 1 week at 8 keys, some guy said he would take it(no keys or anything of particular worth in his bp)
1 refresh is all it took.
First link contains multiple people saying he is underselling at 8 keys.
Second link isn't even 10 minutes old.
Third link has 8 key offer thus proving it can sell at 8.
first link has been up for a while
yes.
If i offered you 15 buds that i didn't have on the unusual in your inventory, you'd sell it to me, right? The guy in the trade offered 8 keys even though he had none.
1. He received the following offers (which he didn't take for whatever reason): 9 keys, white bills, 9 keys 2 ref, 10 keys, and 12 keys. You can confirm both the white bills offer and 12 keys offer very easily.
2. Why post it then?
3. Unless you checked his inventory 4 days ago, you cannot confirm that. 4 days is plenty of time to spend 8 keys.
1. You have forgotten to factor in that it has been open for a very long time, where many offers were made. In the past week he's gotten 2 or 3 offers, one of them being a festive fish ( 6-7 keys at the time ).
2. It's in my range.
3. lol ok. He made an educated decision to not buy the crate.
1. And here is where I see you making your mistake. This trade, from it's history seems to have received offers while the owner was away and now he is recently back and bumping the trade (the last offer for 12 keys was only a week ago). But even assuming worse case scenario, this trade can't be even a week old as consideration for your proof.
2. It's also in the current range. And even then, because you should have known it was a brand new trade (not even 10 minutes old when you posted) there was no way to count this as evidence. You have no excuse here.
3. Surprisingly people sometimes find better deals on items they want more and spend their keys there instead.
and yes it does disprove the current range, considering if someone could not sell their crate at 7 keys, what are the chances at 8? plus the averaging helps too.
Incorrect. If someone fails to sell at 7 keys, it can mean that people are simply not buying currently (instantaneous demand is low). But low instantaneous demand does not necessarily equal a lower price. Thus it is far more important for you to provide evidence of multiple failures at 8 keys rather than proving a sell at 7.
EDIT: Also 2 trades at 8 keys (both of which received offers anyway, with only 1 of which can be contested) is not nearly enough proof. You really need a lot more examples of failed trades at 8 (or simply a listing show that 8 key trades are extremely rare to non existent in comparison to 7 key trades).

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7696577
both have autobump.
1 refresh yet again.
I mean if you wan't to disprove me so badly, you can find some links to do so.
1. Those trades are 2 hours old and 17 hours old. Not nearly close to being old enough to disprove a sell.
2. I don't want to disprove you, I want you to provide actual proof of your suggestion. Really, I just want to see you properly prove your suggested price (hence I am your Devil's Advocate).
I have some anecdotal evidence from about a week ago: I bought 2 of these crates for a n+b hard counter and a craft hat. I listed them on the classifieds for 7.25keys each and on outpost for 14keys+1.33ref for both. I only received 2 offers in about 9 hours: a pink EA for one crate, and a gifted bud for both crates+sweets. I was lucky and was able to trade both crates+6keys+crafthat+3 crate#28's for the gifted bud.
And I just realized this adds nothing valuable to the discussion.
haha xD nice story :P
upvoted. dont see anyone buying at 8
by that logic 70% of all items should decrease in value, especially stranges and high tier genuines
def. not moving much at 8 keys, moving at 7 keys sometimes
downvote, sold mine @ 8 keys in ~12 hours, had an offer @ 7.5 within 2 hours: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7696224
I say the idea is right but I would prefer a small range additionally, 6,75 to 7,25 keys.
If you want to slowsell you will get 7k+1r
If you want to quicktrade its 7k
If you want to slowbuy you need to offer 6k+2r
Just my personal experience: I put up a Crate #40 for two weeks and lowered its price from 10k to 7k+1r in steps of scrap metal. Noone even asked for it above 8k and noone made any serious offer until 7k+2r. Only at 7k+0.88r someone said "I take it for your price".
I quicksold mine for 6 keys, upvote :D
Yeah I'm upvoting too, I hope more people panic sell like you so I can buy more !
Price should remain 12-14 keys and rise whenn it will stop dropping.
Stop ruining trading.
That is an opinion. This site bases the price off of proof.
I really like your sense of humor :)
Mine?
This made me laugh.
Link 3 and 4 are just rejected offers, which proves nothing
Link 2 he isn't selling it
I searched outpost (all 20 pages) and there are very few 7 key sellers
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7089567 - 7 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7729202 - 7 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7712127 - 7 keys (posted on your proof)
Conclusion: I am not sure if it is ready for a drop, there are not enough 7 key sellers that aren't being bought out immediately (which means a range should be necessary). Staying neutral
I agree. Not enough evidence of 7 key sellers to adjust current price since 7 is already included in the current spread.
Downvoted, not enough evidence to change the price by such a small amount (especially when you're taking away the range.)
oh, and your evidence that had no relevance to your post did? Nice crates in your bp. Also gg, trying to up the price of the crate 2 times in one day. I applaud you sir, for your opinion matters so much to me.
I've found another seller for 7 keys if it helps your argument in any way :D
