judging from the 4th link one of them has very recently sold for more than your suggested range?
Overpay in items?
lots of these prices are based on item values, if someone is willing to pay that much it should be worth that much
Point taken...I was just speculating on why he decided to provide that proof (as it sold over the suggested range)
yea I was just wondering why he set the range lower..but as lots of these lowtier unusuals get sold for items I don't consider overpay in items a valid excuse for not including it in the range (would be different if this was a 5 bud unusual and there was a 5.5 unsual/item offer on it, I do agree that overpay in items is necessary on those deals)
Most people expect and want an overpay in unusuals no matter what the value of the hat is. Inherently, it makes sense since items require time to resell.
that logic is flawed, because that also means the blizz scotch would be sold for 30 keys in items until subsequently after all trades he might end up with 10 buds because he makes awesome deals with the items he gets..u can't take that into account on unusual to unusual trading..at least that's my opinion..if he trades this 1:1 for an Unusual worth 26 Keys and the other guy has to add 3 keys in sweets, his hat is worth 29 keys to the buyer..
I would ask for sweets everytime if someones offering on my trade (unless I really like it or such things).
Also about the items thing: If a trader asks for 20 keys he want 20 pure. And maybe 23 keys in items. (Got an example of this.) Seriously I think everyone would prefer keys instead of metal, painted uc hats some all-fathers and kringles.~ Because it takes time to resell for the normal price, sometimes they even drop in price and after 1 week you still have some of those items.
