Prove it.
Now, see, that's hard to do. Easy to prove at 1 scrap, since most people sell for a scrap, and have it listed as such on places like tf2op.com or reddit's r/tf2trade, or even backpack.tf's classifieds, but it's hard to find people offering a 1:1 wep swap or proof of it having occurred.
Like Rhys said, it's hard to prove it. But if you look on outpost there are dozens of unsold quickfixes at 1 scrap and absolutely no trades buying at 1 scrap.
Te new weps are still pretty hyped: look at a site like scrap.tf, and you'll be hard pressed to find any q-fixes, Eureka Effects, or Lochs. Hype has gone down, but enough that people are still willing to pay a scrap. Source: Seeing them go a lot on trade servers, particularly reddit's r/tf2trade servers.
If we would base the price of weapons on what they're selling on trade servers, then they all need to be 1 scrap.
New weapons might be still popular, but it's way cheaper to buy them directly than crafting.
I've been trying to sell a Loch-n-Load for a few days now at one scrap, and no one has been willing to value it for that price.
I think posting many unsuccessful trades at 0.11 would constitute as proof.
Seems that quick fix is back to normal price... because vaccinator seems to be common now.
