I dont really understand lol... why would vintage hats go up? They haven't been dropping for 2 years anyway o.O
What is wrong with outposters
For some reason Gaben decided to retire the starter hats, so Valve cut the supply so the demand would go up, I guess nobody was buying the starters from the store.
normal hats stop dropping, everyone now wants vintage ones. WH is like void of this.
The only variants of the Fancy Fedora that should be affected are the Clean, Dirty and most importantly the Unusual variant. The Vintage version can't be obtained 2 years ago. So why are people buying them now when they weren't obtainable before.
This update has nothing to do with the Vintage Version!

Also I guess it's a good time now to hoard all the Vintages while they're still cheap!

I'm sorry, but raising the price on any of the vintage versions of these hats is just stupid.
These vintages were only obtainable via trading since the Mann-conomy update, which was like 2-ish years ago. It's not like removing the dropping of any of these hats is going to make getting the vintages ones any different from 2 years ago.
Once people realize this, the price WILL go back down to what is was before this mind-fangling mess.

Get out of here with your inflated prices. Just because Regular and Unusuals stop dropping doesn't affect something that's already in an unobtainable (as of now) quality as is.

It doesn't matter how dumb it is. He has proof showing trades at the price he suggested, therefore some people (albeit stupid) are accepting trades at this price.
As stated, community went full retard. The update had nothing to do with the vintage variants, just more greedy people trying to get the most out of their hats.
