Expensive trades (like we are familiar with the price for a dirty one)

First people are talking about a worth of 5 keys within the next 2 month.

And I wont sell any of those hat or the crates ;)

And well, even this news let the price explode.

I would do a bet the price will raise within those 2 weeks up to 2 keys for a dirty one, but even for 1 refined you cannot buy it and this price-suggest is hard.

That is more a problem of this voting-system, because it´s slow slower slowest.

I like it much and the average of prices are more fine with the market then on other pricelists, spreadsheets etc.

But every system has some "bugs".

I bet if the s50 will be introduced some day I will get the news within the first 5 minutes (like today for the items)

And if anybody will suggest even +1 key for the s40 he will get punished of this voting-system.

Because in here is the MIND of a price. If you have 10% non-believer + 10% without any imagination that those items will be AWAY.

Sure, clean can be bought EASY within the next 2 weeks. And the dirty one´s which are crafted? Well, you even cannot get 10x of them if you want now.

I am 100% sure with all I saw started at the TF 2 Beta, over vintage weapons, over strange ones, over new game-modifications, over events like halloween or earbuds for hackintosh ... aehm .. macintosh-user ... over a MVM-System up to the market that those OLD items will get rare again. Special the crafted ones and very special this time, because it happens the first time.

Sure, there is no proof of this last point, because it is NEW :)

Let me rephrase my sentence. You need to provide evidence that is it actually sold with your suggested price of 1-1.22 ref. First proof is pure speculation. Backpack.tf doesn't want that. It only reflects on the price right now. Second proof shows a painted one with a b/o of 1.33 ref. (Its not sold) Third proof is not a proof because its a search.

The news is about 4 hours old and I admit, I was busy until NOW with buying some of those hat for a cheap (old) price.

But now it´s over. Ppl are answering: NO, I read the news, too.

I don't get it. Why would the price of the uncraftable increase? They couldn't be obtained anymore anyway..

A news link is not evidence, actual trades are evidence, no one's going to take your seriously on that alone especially when everyone is already skeptical of you because you are trying to increase the price of an item you have your backpack full of. All you have said is you have offers, with not actual posts at all.

why do people think these hats are gonna go up in price. There are a huge amount of them already in the game, it will be just like uncrafts, they didnt go up and they were discontinued.

Just shut up. This is just way to stupid. Price explosion hurr durr durr. First of all the uncrafts are already unavailable. Secondly it takes effect in two weeks. People are just raising the prices to get profit off autistic orgasmic people who just live off every word TF2/Steam does. People will overprice their worthless items for about a week... Then everyone will realize the stupidity... and then they will drop like a rock and over time slllllooooowwwwwllllly rise. That's it.

What you think the steamguard-rule is out? That people cannot brutforce 100x accounts with a temp-mail within an event for getting specials.

Same for dirty hats like this. Its dirty and you cannot spam your own backpack with it.

The clean version is buyable for the next 13 days and 19 hours.

No. There are no offers of two keys the link you provided shows offers of 1 ref. I have seen some people buy it for that, haven't seen one 1.22 though. Downvote. Range should be .66-1, I would upvote that.

Well, show me the price for 1 ref each and I will buy it.

The normal answers at the moment is: No, I want more. / No I read the news, too. / No, I want 1.66 ref. --- and I got many many of those answers today.

I did around 150 addings (with deleting after the trade) --- and if you are sure with your price and maybe I am wrong, tell me those sellers. I will buy.

Prices are based off of C/Os and what they are selling for.

Not what the buyers want.

They are not selling for 1.22, you need to provide proof they are. Just because they are turning down lower offers does not mean it is worth more. It is what people are willing to pay.

Don't know how I can make that any clearer.

Proofing means I have to sniper all the trades, but if any trade is "closed" that is no proof again. Maybe it was closed by seller without selling.

I think we could turn in a circle like this all the time, there will be no proof even with a doctorate.

To have such those proofs within some hours after such a reaction is hard.

And what is happening now? Nice people, who are trading with not many knowledge and who are trusting this pricelist got almost duped.

"See here on backpack the price is." And that is the main reason (I think) that such hard price up´s or down´s are not fair supported within this voting-system. Get yourself the Helmet for 0.66 - 1.00 --- I will buy all for 1.00 --- waiting for your flood of uncrafted helmets. But for the case I am not right. Stop at 10x Helmets around ;)

Learn how this site works. You can still look at trades of sales, even after they are closed, it is not like they go away completely.

Like I said before, the suggestions are based of sales, not what people are asking and not getting.

You have yet to provide proof of any sales at the high end. So again, please learn how this site works.

And lastly, I don't want any of these hats, there are far too many for them to go up that much in price down the road, looking at how many of these soon to be discontinued hats you own, I can tell why you want the price to go up though.
