Suggestion: Non-Craftable Batter's Helmet at 1–1.33 ref

Now if you're wondering why there is more offers than B/Os, its because sellers are just looking for offers atm due to the fact that this hat is going to be taken removed from the store and also the drop system of the game.

Since there is only a few offers above 1.33 ref, it should be safe to put a price range of 1-1.33 ref.

Also, you will notice that some sellers are still having a B/O of 0.33-0.66 ref. But those trades are either being autobumped or inactive due to the seller being offline.

Well, once the news that these hats are going to be expired soon came out, traders rushed to buy all these hats while they can. Soon, the hype will eventually die down. But for now, this seems to be the case :S

They were expired as soon as they stopped the store from selling uncraftable items basically. This is just stupid.

Yeah, I have to agree with you, these hats were once regarded as a 'beginner's hat' and nobody really wants them. But now, with just one news, ppl are crazy about them. Funny how ppl change so fast :/

Imagine if Valve suddenly decided to bring back earbuds to the game, I wonder if ppl will rush for it, or the price will drop dramatically and suddenly no one wants it :S

It'd likely be a mix of both: People will rush, and the rpice would crash w/in 2 days, depending upon the end value (eg. Purchasable through store, if you run steam off of Linux, craft at certain times, etc.) of the requirements. More hoops = more value (HOUWAR vs. Bounty Hat), but the overall value would definitely drop.

i really dont know what to say. i mean you give lots of decent proof but i mean, it just seems too soon and this happens all the time-not the retiring of items but people overpaying for items/selling for higher prices than the community set for it. also if these UNCRAFTABLE hats are going for this then a unique/craftable batters helm should go for 2 maybe 3 times its current price and if that makes sense-then my idea of selling a key for 3 keys (*implying sarcasm* in case you didnt notice) should be logical.

Despite what people are offering/buying, the price is too high. Once people realise that there's plenty of stock, they will feel stupid Don't vote yet until I put up my suggestion :P

I don't see a problem about choosing the uncraftable one. There's already a new price suggestion for the craftable one and ppl can suggest a new price if they are not satisfied.

My trade is the one with the 1.66 offer ^^. The uncraftable batter's Helmet was put up for 0.66 2 days ago and I woke up this morning to 19 invites all asking to buy it/offer. To be quite honest I think it's better to let the price alter before setting a price because it's going to rise and fall fast.

and? inflation on OP changes the price of items all the time. although i agree that this price is too high it doesn't stop from being accepted as 'evidence'.

Why are ppl wanting more for Uncraftable and vintage ones, the Uncraftable were discontinued about 2 months ago, and the vintage was ABOUT 1 YEAR OR SO AGO.

I'm gonna upvote because I've seen this happening too, but I would like to say that every person offering high on these hats is a fucking moron. Just because they're being discontinued does't mean that there aren't already a shit ton of them currently in existance. I personally am annoyed at this though, because I wanted to buy a Fedora to actually wear. Oh well, they'll go back down eventually.
