Uncrafts haven't been available for more than a month now.....
He means the hat in total is being retired. They will no longer be unboxed, crafted, or bought from the mann co. store. So the price is going to raise slighty but not a whole load like the crazy is suggesting.
Yeah, but this is a suggestion for the dirty fedora, which was already unobtainable. "Logically" speaking, there's no reason for the price to go up, except a slight prod from the rising value of the craft version. If it's going up anyway (which it is), we don't need logical reasons, we need proof.
True proof is needed here but i highly doubt there would be any for such a crazy increase.

Uncrafts won't raise. They are just way too common. There are 103k Fancy Fedoras in existance, out of these 62k are uncraftable. That's just way too much to make it valued at 3 ref.

They haven't been available for a month. But the reason the price is increasing is partly due to all fedoras no longer being available so no point arguing it.

You don't understand. Many people are adding suggestion to raise the price of the vintage retired hats. However, it doesn't make sense because the vintage hats stopped being obtainable in 2010 ALREADY so there's no point of raising the price as they've already been unobtainable for 2-3 years.
You're wrong on the simple fact of the price. It's not determined by SUPPLY alone, but the factor of DEMAND. The supply remains static, but the DEMAND has shot through the roof; Hence, the price raises accordingly. Not this much, esp. w/out proof, but still.

I STILL don't buy it. Staying neutral here though; if bp.tf should mirror what is happening now, then I guess you can go with it.
Still, this is just a positive feedback loop, and current buyers will be screwed if they purchase those for 2.5-3 ref. Cause in a months time, you'll have new hats, new content, even better hats being discontinued, and nobody will give a damn about your stupid uncraft fedora (which is pretty nice, don't get me wrong) that you paid for a key.
