I didn't include the 1.33's in the range because I figure they're quicksells at craft hat price. There aren't any in scrap.tf's hat bank. I think 1.44-1.66 is an accurate range considering it's still relatively new, but has several selling for 1.66
note on the classifieds: looked at some backpacks/outpost profiles, the 1.44 and some of the 1.66's have sold

Put more proof and i will upvote.
What would convince you? I figured the amount that are unsold at 1.66 would show that it's more of an upper bound than lower bound.
Sold mine easily for 2 refined, I still think 1.66-2 ref is a fair price.
and I'll argue that any rational, information-seeking buyer would have spent a couple minutes looking before buying it from you at that price
and I'll concur with that, got lucky selling it at that. I withdraw my previous statement, I do now think that 1.44-1.66 is a reasonable price.
