Well both are duped.~ But yeah they should be lowered.

Well maybe it's my biased collectors soul. :/

I would not say it doesn't matter on normal hats but not so much as on high tier ones.

Oh and some really sought after high tier hats are in collectors backpacks and only dupes are on the market from time to time.^^

not really taking about special circumstances (same thing happens with a lot of gifted halloween unusuals--they end up being the only ones around, negating the effect of the wrap)

But, I've never had any trouble reaching my buyout on a hat just bc it was duped.

If people could chose between duped ones and clean ones, some would pay some keys more. Or if they have the same buyout, the would take the clean if they care (a little bit). That's what I mean.^^

I think you mean the opposite. If a unusual hat that's under 10 buds and duped, it usually loses value. But, High tier hats such as beams TC, dupes don't really matter anymore.

no, i meant what i said. Crap unusuals/low/mid/pretty much anything below 10~ buds doesn't lose value bc of duping. Its the god tier ones that do..

Well a guy who owned a Duped Beams TC, (AcesGamer), got offered the regular value of a clean Beams TC. I could show you the trade if you would like

...i dont need to see any proof. I've been trading unusuals for well over a year, and have wayyyy too much experience with unusuals. Duping only really mattes on high tier unusuals, BUT that doesn't mean it does all the time. Duping for the most part only really affects high tier unusuals.

if it took forever to sell for 4 then y set the high end at 4.3?

Also, no one who matters actually cares about duped any more, nothing ever happens to the duped one now. I sold a supposed duped sunbeams crown for 8 buds not long ago, that was before the price increased here, I have never had any sort of problem selling a "duped" unusual, only the tightest traders seem to be that picky any more.

Usually when I see people caring about dupes is when people want to lower the price of it.

True, I've had a couple people try that with me, usually everyone points and laughs at them.
