Suggestion: The Team Captain at 5.33–5.66 ref

With so many traders taking advantage of the demand for this hat, and setting buyouts of 2 keys, Tons of them are unsold and some of them are still yet to be sold between 5.33-5.66 ref. Buyers are unwilling to pay those prices and only offer between 5.33-5.66 ref. Also, because of the previous suggestion being accepted, traders are now setting prices of 6 ref, which also fail to find buyers for theirs.

2 of the 3 Unsold at 6.33 ref are sold

Unsold at 6 ref are 11, 15 and 18 hours old at this time

The unsold at 5.66 (added) has 2 keys 1 ref listed as price

5.44 ones are 3 and 16 hours old

All these B/O prices are made after the previous suggestion was accepted. I believe the suggestion was inaccurate, which is why I'm suggesting back the old price. Moreover, we can all wait and see if all those TCs get sold or not. I doubt they will.

No way, it's insane this hat dropped below 7 in the first place, and you shouldn't ever follow outpost because the amount of lowballers that offer Bill's hats on Unusuals is skyhigh. Not a good source, neither should the price be lowered.

then why don't you suggest 7 ref for a Team Captain since it shouldn't drop below that price? I would love to see people buying them at your price.

It already has, I just think it shouldn't drop any lower for a top-tier triple class hat.

You do know that bills hats are freaking currency too when it comes to Unusuals. They are worth 8 keys with no paint on them and are considered at that value due to there price being stable as crap.

If you noticed, only his trade had buyers. The rest of them who are selling theirs at 2 keys, have no buyers and are all unsold.

People are just raising their B/O to a ridiculous price, doesn't reflect what traders are willing to pay for them.

Forget to mention, a guy was selling his TC for 1.5 keys a day ago in the classifieds.

So, not sure if one trade is enough to first raise a price and then counter the many unsolds. I also like the hat btw.

When I saw the price of TC changed a day ago, I saw the proof that the last contributor provided and went to do a little research myself. People at outpost started following that price and no buyers so far.

Problem with the popularity of the Team Captain, some traders get really lucky and was able to sell them for various prices, The only trade that was able to sell for 2 keys was most probably because of a chain reaction by buyers. After all, he's selling off his collection (means he had tons of supply which also gives buyers a choice of levels or craft nos. to choose from), and previous buyers from weeks ago had posted there to buy at 2 keys. Some ppl who are not familiar with the prices may come across this trade when it was bumped and thought that it was a fair price, seeing that traders bought them before from that trade (note: some might be from weeks ago). Not everyone on outpost actually take the initiative to search for cheaper prices, some just follow the popularity of the trade.

I personally like the hat too and had bought and sold many of them, but this current price is just not right.

It doesn't take you days to update your trade. It's not even an excuse. If the market is already selling at that price, there is no need for traders to update their trade.

I think there is some truth to this. I myself tried to sell a team captain for 2 keys for around a month on outpost and got no intrest.

Luck is really odd in outpost; while debating the stormy stash I saw multiple offers of 3 pure and the one guy who was willing to take got no comments.

Why are you using unsolds at 2 keys to say that the current range is too high?

The current range ends at 6.33 Ref. 2 Keys is 6.66 - 7.11 Ref. So according to the current range, 2 Key trades shouldn't sell anyway, as they're above the max value.

He has also shown proof of them unsold @ 6.33 and 6 refined.Please look at the proof properly before commenting.

The half of his proof (at least of unsold TCs) from outpost is unsolds at 2 Keys though. He mentions in multiple comments about how there are unsold 2 Key trades on outpost and in the classifieds.

All of that proof is completely useless as it falls above the current range anyway. Which would leave his three 6.33 unsolds (one of which is actually sold, btw) and three 6 unsolds. Only one of which is over a day old.

That 2 key prices are just to show all the highballers in Outpost trying to sell their TCs for 2 keys. The last suggestion got accepted because he included a link showing a trade selling them for 2 keys. But there is no demand at that price, indicating that a price hike wasn't necessary.

As the guy who got it to move up I'm happy that your trying to shift it back. This just proves what this website was created to do. People determining the market value on their own and using it to sway the opposition on the items price. I'll even admit I didn't spend a lot of time researching but I always look out for sellers not buyers. (mostly because both are crazy and buyers want things for as cheap as possible. While sellers want to make as much as possible.) So it just comes down to who you support and being the price went from 5 to 5.66 to 6.33 give it a chance to mature. I bought my TC when it was only 4 ref the market changes. ( and keys keep going up for some reason)
