look at the post right below. On top of that the second offer on link 1 has an unusual value of 4+, the 5-5.5 offer on link 2, and as stated below the 4.3-4.8 bud offer unusual in link 3. 4.5 is a pretty conservative estimate
The Bubble Pipe offered by Corlock is an outlier, I've known him for almost a year now. He had been wanting a G. Energy AA for ages, and he happened to unbox the bubble pipe one day. He knew how much his pipe was worth, he just didn't care. He would have given 7 buds for one of these if he had it. I wouldn't consider him proof.
All the other 4+ bud unusuals have to have overpay taken into account so they come out to ~3.6-4 pure as stated by Vincent. I just need more proof of 4.5 before I upvote this.
I wouldn't necessarilly say the bubble pipe is an outlier. Merely an out of date price :P B/Os of 5 are EVERYWHERE on outpost. Without a more thorough search, I'd say it's more reasonably a 4.5-5 hat. Aligns rather nicely with the scorching stuntman sale, supports at least a little over 4 I'd say.
honestly the three links are all I have as there are not too many of them out there :(. I just thought 4.5 was a good estimation as I had no idea about your friend and it seemed around the pricing made in links 1 and 3

In the third link it appears to have traded for a scorching stuntman. Recently updated to 4.3-4.8, so ~4 pure. Would be worth looking to see if anything was added on either side.
after doing a ton of research and losing my sanity in the process. There is just not enough evidence in pure offers to support it. If you go off unusual over pay which most traders want a hat valued around 1.5 buds more then theres that would put this hat around 4 buds. However there are only 5 scanned in existence. As far as what effect is higher then another effect in price, that is based on previous sales, not what people feel according to their opinions. gonna down vote for now need more proof
4.5 is more an approximation for what the maximum amount of promos this hat can get. If you simply type in google "pc green energy aa" youll notice that this is the only site that values this hat lower than 4 buds at max and the only site that places a minimum value of this hat under 3 buds. 3 buds is barely enough for a vivid.... And though you do have a point in that an effect's tier is based on previous sales, its just ridiculous to consider a green energy version of a hat is the same cost as a vivid and nearly 1-2 buds lower than its sister effect (purple energy)
i do agree with you that the hat should be closer to the same price as it's sister hat, however that is just our opinion but without any real evidence though it's hard to justify it being of equal value. if you were to suggest 3.5-4 I would say up vote as I feel there is adequate enough proof to justify it.
