Half of 3.55 trades are closed. Seeing that you always copy links from other key suggestions, I think finding proof yourself would be a bit more valid and would support your claim more.

You may want to change that to "3.55" instead of "3.5" before voters have a hissy fit

I'm not the original author of that key proof, but as someone who spends a lot of time on collecting evidence and organizing it, it kind of ticks me off that another person would blatantly copy-and-paste it into their suggestion almost verbatim, especially without giving credit for it. It's clear that the original author spent a lot of their own time researching the value of key prices before making the decision to post it, and their thoroughness is appreciated because the moderators haven't come to a decision yet after 3 days. Wouldn't it be possible for you to do your own research instead?

Well, tbh, as this sites main (and only) goal is to list the most accurate prices on items possible, there really is no issue with borrowing proof (especially if it leads to a more accurate price).

Although, it would be nice to at least give credit to the finder.

I agree that the site's main purpose is accuracy, and that if a suggestion's proof is good but their range is off, one should be able to add and expand on that proof in order to improve its accuracy. Unfortunately, I don't agree with simply lifting the proof verbatim, credit or no credit. I feel that one should always do their own research, even if it ends up to repetitive links. Maybe you might find something that's wrong with the current proof listed! :)

mehhh i see no problem borrowing proof assuming you told the person who found the proof why you disagree and then give them a chance to change the range themselves and if they don't then i see no problem whatsoever using their proof.

My issue was not so much credit, as it is towards the idea of not making something your own. :P

Currently, the first key suggestion is much more convincing than yours or the other person who copied the same proof. Do you think you can expand on this by showing us that the 3.66 upper range provided by the original author isn't particularly accurate?

Now, if it was 5 minutes, I don't think anyone would care, haha. :P However, the original author posted here saying that it took him over an hour to research everything. That's a lot of time spent verifying its accuracy, and if you look above, he is quite displeased that it was used without his permission.

But anyway, I agree, KingOfHeart, the main focus is ultimately on your proposed range. I'll say no more about the subject! :)

Its funny how the other 2 people that were trying to use tf2finance.com all say a different price. If people use tf2finance.com as an example shouldn't they all be trying to change it to the same price?
