This needs a range. Too many unsold at 10 keys.

Misscellaneous trades:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8258349 - Selling for 9 keys 2 refined. Unsold
only 1 of those 10 keys have sold, and the 9 key trade got 2 adds and is closed now.
no single sale at 9 keys?
Nope. Had a hard time finding completed trades. It is of my belief that the price should be given a range due to the amount of unsold sandviches.
If no sales happen at 9, why is it in your suggested range?
What kind of bullshit reasoning is this?
"There are over 5000 SF Sandviches in existence, but because these few didn't sell yet at 10 keys, lets make the price lower."
First off, try to keep it clean. It wouldn't hurt to be polite.
Secondly, if you doubt my reasoning and logic, feel free to look at my successful price suggestions here: http://backpack.tf/u/76561198027508164
Thirdly, i'd like to point out that you have 19 strange festive sandviches. If that's not a bias, I don't know what is.
It's not a bias, I couldn't care less what this website says about value of my stuff as I'm not even selling those. It's just that for quite some time now, most proofs are quicksell/speculation bs on marginal quantities compared to the whole market - that's one of those.
"No one sells the Sandvich at 9 keys, but there are plenty of unsold at 10 (omg, can't believe that people aren't buying all the stuff with keys all the time!), so let's bring the price down anyway."
Put some trades buying them at 6 keys to make it more believable, even better if there's legit note saying "Sandviches bought: 14"
i had 1 2 days ago. They sell fine at 10 keys
Trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8212928
Sold 2 quite easily for 10 keys, ill stay neutral for now
Just for extra reference, this guy appears to be cashing out with 9 keys + 2 refined each: http://www.tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9078085
Here's another person selling at 9 keys + 2 ref. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8258349
These things are slow sellers, and I don't like basing prices merely on unsold items.
Unless you can find lots of people selling for 9 (I couldn't), I'm not seeing enough reason to add a range
I see. Well, the reason that the current price was accepted was because s. festive sandviches were selling extremely fast for 10 keys each. Using that logic, If they are selling extremely slow for 10 keys each, then they should go down.
However, this suggestion may have been a mistake. If no one has anything else to say on the matter, i'll close this is a few hours.
A fair point, but the last suggestion also had some voter support
That may be because of a bias.
Also, because of the fact that my rep went up after posting this, I can only assume that the votes are mostly positive.
On a side note, I just noticed the typo in my last comment. Silly me...
Alright, I'd like to weigh in briefly. I tend to like tradingpost sometimes for suggestions like this. If you search for sf sandviches, NONE of the sandviches selling at 10 keys have sold.
http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9079541 - lowered his price from 9 keys + 3 ref (failed at that) to 9 keys + 2.66 ref (unclear whether he has sold any cause he still has 2 in his bp)
http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9078085 - selling for 9 keys + 2 ref and still has all 6 that he posted in his bp
http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9078573 - lowered his price from 10 keys to 9 keys and finally sold
Selling very slowly at 10 and even 9+2. Only sold at 9. I mean, I understand that this is a high end item and fewer people will buy it, but that sounds a lot like a range of 9-10 to me. Plus, the big sellers (guys with 5+ in their bp) are buying at 9 to sell at 10. I like your suggestion much better than the 10 flat.
Thank you for your support and input.
I keep seeing these being sold on outpost and servers for around 10 keys without any success. They get bought up fast at 9 keys and I have personally seen quite a few people cashing in at 9 keys + 1 ref because they feel its about to drop or slow down.
Using what I have seen, I agree with the range.
S.F.s are not common, everyday items. They're akin to low-tier unusuals and high-end s30 stranges: low volume sales and stubborn, persistent sellers. Of course they go unsold for weeks at a time, that's not cause for a price drop.
