basically bumping this 3 months old price, which is somewhat out of sync with the other effects, although some current/declined offers justify that:

the only 2 on the market that aren't in some kind of set have B/Os of 3:

As this is basically a price bump I'll stay conservative with it, it seems like 3 is not quite achievable anymore, but the recent & current sales don't leave much room to lower it.

Well, my only question is why set the high end to 3?

i get that you're trying to be conservative, but i don't see any proof or offers worth 3 pure which would warrant keeping the high end up.

the first sale is 2 months old, and is 2.5-3 in unusuals, which would be 2.2-2.7 pure.

the second sale is 3 pure, but also 3 months old, which is roughly when the current price was accepted.

the third was part of a set (also 1+ month old) so theres no way to be sure what was sold for what, and sets often have premiums since there already complete.

well read my last sentence, the only legit sales I have found were 3 pure, I don't think there is enough proof to lower it as there aren't any recent sales/bos for anything lower than that

No offers at 3 buds in over 1 month on either, seems like proof enough to say that 3 is too high right now.

it does not seem like u have read my notes, otherwise u wouldn't have posted the exact same links I posted above..I don't consider declined offers of 2.2 as enough proof to lower the range anywhere below 3 Buds, as the recent sales have achieved that price and the only 2 owners selling this outside of a set want 3 each and were not even slightly tempted by 2.2..helpful comments are always appreciated, I don't find ur comments helpful so far as u r basically repeating what I wrote..also (as written above, but as u didn't read that I'll say it again) the 1 month old trade is not bumping regularly and the 3 weeks old guy is very very unfriendly

i did read that, but its a lot clearer to relist the trade than it is to reference it.

if i wanted 3 buds for an unusual i wouldn't be tempted by 2.2 either. BUT the fact that neither could sell for 3 buds in a 1 month period leads me to the conclusion that 3 buds is just too high for this hat.

And being unfriendly won't stop you from selling a hat. Being an ass could have an effect, but even thats iffy. (And he is far from an ass, hell i wouldn't even call him unfriendly, just not very talkative).

Also, with unusuals (especially high demand ones when only a handful are up for trade) bumping isn't hugely important, as a lot of people who offer on unusuals search for specific unusuals.

anything below 3 just does not have any proof imo, that's mere speculation as there are no sales below 3 Buds (apart from that Peace Phantom + Steam Baker's sale, but I would have taken that deal too, I find Peace far more appealing than Flies) that suggest any owner will let this hat go below 3, when there is I'll gladly lower the range, but as there are multiple sales at 3 in the past, when the value was at 2.6-3.3, I think that outweighs the fact that they have not yet sold below 3..feel free to disagree, I thought about something like 2.8 as well, but there are just no sales at 2.8

and I wouldn't call the Flies Phantom a highly demanded hat and as there are 9 pages of Unusual Phantoms and tf2op only installed the specific effect search today I think that does matter

False, you could search for unusuals by effects for several months now.

Also, there is less than 1 page of flies phantoms. (And, flies is a highly demanded effect on desired hats, and pretty much every unusual misc is highly demanded)

the function was installed today, using a script or the specific search when clicking on the specific hat/effect was only used by a very few people, stop nitpicking this is getting childish

an updated function was, but you've been able to search for an unusual with a specific effect for months now.

I'm not nitpicking at all, i'm point out that fact that there is no longer any proof of it still getting 3 buds. And i'm stating facts. People who buy unusuals are doing it for one of two reasons. #1 profit, #2 desire. If they desire the hat they will search for it, and if its for profit they usually will just take offers--although not always.
