Wow, I still remember these being sold for 7 pure since it's god-tier engi hat + best theme for this class. According to the proof you provided I could upvote your suggestion, but the tire of this hat and the theme... I would give it 4 at least. I'll stay neutral.
Yes, I also remember a time when this effect to the engineer was on tops. Link 4-it the best offers(almost all at outpost) for that hat(I had not considered link 3)within a month.
If people offer over 4 pure on these, why putting 2.3 as a high-end value?

TF2 is driven by effect now and not so much theme. Anything under energies is tough to move. Even ghosts and Hearts are next. Personally I see no one dumping this hat under 2 but with so many F2P players its tough to keep formerly relevant hats where they should be.
