Suggestion: Tour of Duty Ticket at 1.66–2 ref

Did this but 1.66-1.88 Last time, got a couple of hate but it got accepted. 2 ref is too high as many are still sold at 1.66. I would suggest as what I did last time, 1.66-1.88

Those 2 ref links aren't very compelling considering how old most of them are. As well, these are easy to find at the current price:

That was only the first page of search results, but there's 15 other pages, so there's probably more available for 1.66 or less.

the problem, everyone will willing to sell keys at steam market and get back 2 tickets to resell for key + x metals profit + (steam money profit as well ).

and this why the stock of tickets now about 200,000. http://stats.tf/item/725/Tour_of_Duty_Ticket , tf2wh still have about 1000 in stock too .. i don't think the market really need more than this amount of stock .

you can't really reason like that because as the people here on backpack.tf like to say..it's all about the demand, whether artificial or not. a lot of people don't really bother to work out the price differences between warehouse, backpack, outpost, steam market, trade servers etc. they just buy wherever they please. nevertheless i agree that 2 ref is a bit too high and like the other guy said, 1.66-1.88 is more appropriate atm. also warehouse sells lots of things under market price but they don't really care as they still make a profit AND not many people can buy them as it is not easy to buy credits without making losses in the first place.

Seeing as I buy hundreds a week at 1.66 and I have people on my friends list that buy them for less than that on servers and sell them to me for 1.66 all the time...I'm going to have to disagree.

I still manage to buy tickets for 1.44 Ref, about 8 or 10 per week, even got someone who sold me 26 for 3 tickets per key. I can't provide much proof except for inventory history screenshots.

I agree with you. I am so dam unsuccessful with buying at 1.44, not even one in 2 weeks, and i sold two for 2ref.

edit: i often play MvM and noticed that the amount of people playing dropped, not really on Boot Camp but ToD, as the bigrock-hype is over. On expert when u have to finish the last map it`s sometimes even not possible to join a game in 10 Minutes (at least here in Europe)

Well, why spend 6 ToDs to gain probably a cheap silver botkiller and some useless craft weapon, when you can complete a tour with 3 ToDs? This is the main reason for the drop in old expert missions. Plus, the hype in new mecha mission is over of course.

Lotsa people are selling 2 tickets for one key. But I don't know if they just want the overpay (stupid question, of course they do) or it's just simplistic, rather than counting ref. Easy mathematicians(the successful tf2 players) would easily recognize that they are being ripped off for about .33. OMG .33??? I know, that is around the average of "money" that you find from drop a week. But, I am going to have to agree with you on this one, the price needs to go up.

Why do people keep saying it's hard to find tickets at 1.66? I have people throwing them at me all day long at that price.

Not my fault you don't know how to interpret a backpack. Every one of those was purchased at 1.66.

Though the amount of people willing to pay 2 is sparse this might get accepted because there are people actually willing to pay the high price you suggest.

Any thing over 1.66 is just greedy traders hoping for desperate ppl. I bought loads at 1.66 & 2:3 ref even.
