I counted over 1,000 at 3 cents or less. it will take weeks or months to deplete a supply like this.

If you value keys at 3.66 each and sell them for atleast $1.98 that come out to around $.06 cents per scrap

Yes, the point of bp.tf is to have up to date market information about what is selling.

If that means a huge bountiful supply of cheap crates just came into the market, it would be wise to inform users of that and lower the price of crates, otherwise they would just be taken advantage of by others, purely out of ignorance.
