Selling/Sold for more than 1 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4919485 - Sold quite a few for 1.11 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8506148 - Selling for 1.33 ref
Conclusion: More common to find 1 ref sellers at Outpost, not much at .88 and found hardly no one selling at .66. People selling at .88 seems to sell more quicker than 1 ref, thus .88-1 ref
the buyer is paying 1.66 ref for 3 decal tools not 1 each
Well fml. Deleted that. Thnx :D
I'm one of the people in the proof. I managed to buy over 30 decals inside of 3 days for almost entirely 0.66, and maybe 4 or 5 of them for 0.77, and thats just me.
I found it pretty easy to buy at 0.66. By easy I mean I had to look, but its possible within a page to find at least one at 66 or 77. Obvious self interest here, but also as someone with 25 decal tools right now, none of them was paid for at a rate at or above 0.88.
I buy at 0.66, sell at 0.88, and see oodles of people selling at 1 ref with lots buying for that price as well. To me the existing range is perfectly accurate and consistent with my experience. New one doesn't make sense to me.
Seems like the other suggestion is buyers focused and this is more seller focused. Neutral btw.
put the 2 together and you get the perfect range, .66-1 :P
Yeah my thoughts, but maybe 0.66 are just quicksells? Well who can say that exactly, debatting about some scraps isn't my stuff.^^
Ye, as I said, people who sell for .66 have no use for it, as what I do sometimes.
Well from expereince, the people who sell their decals they have no use for. And as we all know, those are called 'Outpost lowballers' Updated proof for buyers. Also Good Luck on applying for Admin, hope you get it!
The same way your links could be called outpost highballers.~
Thx.^^
Few Buyers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8105944 - Bought a few at .66
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8404393 - Same guy sold 1 at .88
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8446303 - Bought a few at .55
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8104431 - Plenty accepted .66
A Couple Sellers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8521356 - sold 2 for .66
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8524377 - someone accepted .77
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7913220 - Selling at .77 (profiteer who buys at .44 with 0 luck XD)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8510535 - 2 for sale at .77
It's not a bad suggestion, but I don't see a need to change the price when they seem readily available within the current range.
reason why u cant find any low selling ones are that nobody wants to sell for that low
if they just raised the price, buyers would ask like .66-.77 and sellers would go from 1.00-1.11
thats is basically how outpost works
no real reason to raise them
competing vote on this.
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5116d840ba25362e59000002
we just voted it down to its current price TODAY! keep it that way for a bit
That's not been accepted.
I'm not sure, sales at .66 still do happen, so I don't think it should be removed from the range just yet
Agreed, Just not enough evidence to wipe .66 from the range. The wide range is good as it is capturing sellers as well as buyers. With a basic tool item like this, 'would need to see many 1 ref and above bulk sellers achieving reasonable success before removing .66 from the range.
The current range is fine. Where do you think those decal sellers get their stock from if no one is selling at 0.66?
Pretty much
Ok guys, your comments say that I should close this. And I agree, I didn't look deep enough :D
