3.62 is perfectly in the current range. (3.605 is the current average)
Tf2finance says that price rising. 3.66 is easy sell and quite easy buy price.
It goes up and down the whole time.~
Jesus. Upvote.
this is the tipping point... will it exceed 3.66? is this the tip of the iceberg? are people willing to pay more than 3.66? i'm running out of popcorn...
I ran out of popcorn at 3 ref .-.
I had to mail order a cinema-style popcorn popper off ebay.
Keys will be at 4 ref when it shows up. Hopefully you have enough butter at that point.

If this keeps up, I'm going to run out of chairs... why am I throwing those out?
But you're paying 3.5 for a key http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8524854. Downvote.
Yes, and i bought 2 for 24 hours.
That proves that keys are 3.55-3.66 AT LEAST. Check my post below to see why they're 3.44-3.66. GREEDY KEY SELLERS, DISLIKE ALL MY POSTS, I DARE YOU, KIDS.
Your proofs are bad, i answered there. You can easy sold for 3.66 and quite easy buy for 3.66. Thats my point.
If you can buy for less, then it means that the price is not "3.66 flat". Greed is bad and you should feel bad. Making 1 scrap profit made you go here and make this suggestion? Silly.
Im not reselling keys for metal. Im selling them for money. I have no interest to manipulate price. And yes i will make big profit buying 2 keys for 24 hours and sell them for 3,66.
"I have no interest to manipulate price."
*accidently goes to backpack.tf and suggests a higher price*
This is getting hilarious, I'll just stop commenting.
Im not changing price but telling that price has changed, Feel the difference?

--Buying for 3.55. No takers for an entire week. (The only poster didn't actually add me)
nothing special, considering the huge amount of buyers. Nobody trusts in metal anymore.
TF2finance: http://tf2finance.com/keys/ "**(3.62 atm)**"
3.66 flat
*logic*
(does need a boost though I suggest a range of 3.55-3.77(ish))
but upvote for now
No. Sales at 3.77 didn't happen (a few days ago, maybe this changed). And 3.62 is pretty much the current average (3.605). Seems like the current range is perfect, also the graph from finance hovers arond between 3.55 and 3.66.
Though I don't have the evidence, I have sold 3 keys at 3.77, but most go for 3.66 stock price at the moment. Still agree that having a range is better. I would prefer 3.55-3.72.
As for buying, I have bought keys for 2 ref-3.44 ref. (This mostly depends on how big of a noob the person is or how much they need a key... and entirely In-Game trades).
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8046887 bought several keys for 3.55
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8278529 bought for 3.44
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8338138 bought for 3.44
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8364777 bought for 3.44
1st link (2 keys in bp)
2nd link - 1 bought week ago (no keys in bp)
3rd link - 1 add 22 hours ago (2 keys in bp)
4th link - last add 4 days ago (no keys in bp)
Those trades are all at least a week old, the key price has changed since then
The price hasn't changed since it was 2.66, key sellers are implying it did.
bought/added for 3.55

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8333033
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8046887
also found a few going for 3.44, 2 days ago
But they dont have any keys in bp
Possible reasons:
-bought something else for the keys
-unboxed crates
-sold keys for metal / money
Or they couldnt buy keys for this price anymore.
L1 ~16keys in BP... maybe they bought something, or got several accounts
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8429381 - here`s one selling for 3.55, quite successful, not surprising
edit: on my opinion valve should get a solution with alt-accounts and idling, just delete them, problem solved
i didnt check bp from 1st link, cause trade is closed.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8429381 seller for 3,55 has 0 in stock.
because he got all the keys, it was open minutes before, seller sold out, not wondering bout that, bunch of metal says all. For me this looks lika a typical alt-account. Nothing to play TF2, just trading-crap.
btw, 3 of your links are also closed, and thats a good sign (for the buyer) or not?
Idling is actually a reliable way of getting items. I see no problem with it. I mean, if you hate idling, you should hate any other way to get profit. Idling is just another method of making profit, simple as that.
He means idling with severel accounts.
Exactly what I was talking about.
Sorry than.
You`re right. I really hate profit. Profit is one reason this ball (earth) goes to hell.
I play on idle-server myself, so i dont hate them, they`re funny sometimes (funbox for example) it`s the alt-accounts pushing inflation, and making everything valued in metal worthless (hats for example). So, every suggestion, same discussion. Valve seems too busy, to do some effective change.
edit: i mean: 1PC/1account, that cant be so difficult to realize
Because it's fucking up the economy. And running more than 1 account playing TF2 at the same time is against the TOS of the game.
What is wrong with people and saying key prices should not go up? I mean, this one probably is too early, not upvoting. but in general, keys go up relative to ref since ref is going down relative to IRL money. metal numbers go up, keys do not, or even go down. Concept's not that hard.
It was 6 days ago, and he has 0 in stock.
I bought one earlier for 3.55
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8531136
3.55 and below sellers occur. Not often, but here are some examples of posts I found yesterday.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8524755
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8526688
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8520526 3.44 seller
Sorry if I made mistakes in this post, first time on this website.
This is the third terrible key suggestion in 12 hours.
As I said on the last two, the current range is fine: 3.44 and 3.77 are still outliers, and 3.55-3.66 still covers the majority of trades.
