Dude, they won't. Salvaged Crate #40 has been in the game for such a LONG time.

Yeah I found one a few days ago(and got a widowmaker lols) then today I saw 2 people find one(and saw the one of the guys find one theday before), they seem to be getting more common =/ It's unstable right now valve needs to release crate 50 before we get sappers down to a 3keys....

They've been in the game since March of 2012.

Oh Valve, you're so bad with time management.

Despite that, a year after it stops dropping you will have a) new players that weren't around during crate 40 and b) players who have them in their bp and leave the game. Just look at the salvaged 30 or 2011's festive weapons; give them some time and they skyrocket eventually.

Salvaged 40 and 2012 festive weapons will NOT skyrocket that high(or not skyrocket at all) because we all know that the weapons unboxed are 2 times as much as the salvaged 30 or 2011 festive weapons just by looking at its stats.
