I can confirm that I was able to buy it for a scrap a few days ago. It was actually easier to get this for a scrap than a S. Detonator.

How do you even get kills with it...I've only gotten 10 kills with it and I was trying pretty hard >.>

You have to use the projectile, the weapon itself is horrible for damaging...

I managed to get 4 kills in one game with the ball :>

I tried that but the kills counter didnt go up...I'm guessing steam was just down then. And 4 kills with that makes you a hacker :C

But I actually like this weapon a lot, since while sandman is useful, it means you die from one rocket or like 2 shotgun hits. I personally don't use scout's melee because pistol at close range is much more damaging, so the damage reduction on this isn't really a downside. The ball shattering and bleeding is really annoying to others, and it screws up their aim slightly, so it's pretty fun to use. However, this has no effect on the price of said item...

As much as I love this item, I agree that it (beyond the ornament) is very impractical and because of this, people are not going to want / use it

I really don't deny that it's a hard sell, but I have had 2 in the past and once sold at .33 and another sold (in two days) for .22. I currently have one with strange parts (why someone wasted parts on this piece of crap, who knows) and am selling it for more to no avail. Here's my successful trades with the S Wraps:
