My suggestion is based on sellers’ trades (last 3 weeks), because I could not find any successful buyer even for 1 Ref. People are ready to pay more than 1 Ref. You cannot buy it for that price. The actual price range is 1.33 - 1.66. Enjoy the links!;)

SELLERS:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/2990647 asking price is 1.66; 1x name tag offer(1.33-1.66); 1.66 7 buyers last month; 1,11 offer’s declined

BUYERS:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4581826 1 Ref; 2 sellers in 3 weeks;

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8402829 1 Ref; 1 week no sellers

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4922642 1 Ref, 1 seller last 3 weeks

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4279889 0.66, no sellers

I've seen more than a few quickbuyers trying for 1 ref, so you've got my upvote.

When I was sufring buyers trades I just get tired... no deals there

Given the counter proof, I think I'm changing my vote...

I disagree with the notion that it cannot be bought for 1.00:

These are all of the trades I have made in the past week where I've bought Indubitably Green paints for 1.00 or less. I don't have a buyer's trade for them; I simply found these selling on Outpost for those prices. As you can see, I bought two yesterday for 1.00.

If your range is correct, then I should not be successful purchasing for 1.00.

Sorry, my suggestion was not based on your trading history. And yes, shit happens. I have bought many things cheaper than the market average. You have bought 4 cans in 3 weeks? I can put you there in buyers' prices. NP. Cheers.

You misunderstand me. I've bought 4 in the past week, not in the past 3 weeks. If your range is accurate, I should no longer be able to purchase ANY for this price.

Selling Indubitably Green paint for 1.33 each!

          STOCK: 3

          SOLD: 24 heh

And yet, I'm against your suggestion of a price increase! Wow, I'm weird! :P

Look, I'm not being hostile towards you because of the price increase, if that's what you're getting at -- in fact, I'm not being hostile at all! I merely disagree with your range. If your range is correct, 1.66 should be a pretty easy sell -- it's not. Let's see your proof:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/2990647 - I went back to check your claim that there were "7 buyers last month" for the paint. Not quite -- two different adds (4 weeks ago), one add to buy 3 (3 weeks ago), 1 add (4 days ago). I hope you mean "sold 7 in one month" -- but having 7 sales in 1 month isn't a great indication that 1.66 is a good upper range for a price!

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4317242 - yes, one offer of 1.44 (3 weeks ago). But it doesn't support 1.66! One add for 1.66 (1 month ago) -- not a solid indication of current market prices!

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8567121 - selling for 1.44, one items offer totalling 1.66 in value (3 days ago). This is the only acceptable piece of evidence that supports your suggestion, but -- it's an offer in items, not in pure.

I would be more supportive of your suggestion if you gave more examples of the paint successfully selling at 1.66 refined. Keep an eye on these trades:

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8666426 - 1.66 (new, 12 hours old)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8525041 - 1.44 (no offers or adds, been 6 days)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8360444 - 1.44, same seller as above (no offers or adds, been 2 weeks)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8383651 - 1.66, does have some people considering, BUT seller still has the paint in his bp => no successful sales

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8563156 - 1.66 (no offers or adds, 5 days old)

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3119935 - 1.66 (no recent offers/adds < 1 month, 5 months old)

If the upper range of 1.66 is accurate, these should sell rather quickly.

              it seems really hurt you:D

1.33 is quite easy to sell? why aint you selling for lower?:D The fact is that we should make it 1.33 flat or 1-1.66. The second possibility is odd, the first one is not accurate. So I think there are more sold for 1.66. But I will not close this suggestion because it is based on my research of outpost, not your expirience. Thanks for your contribution, I do not think you spend 2 minutes to do it.

On the contrary, I don't think raising the price a reclaimed would hurt me at all. :)

"1.33 is quite easy to sell? why aint you selling for lower?"

...Why would I sell for lower if it's easy to sell at 1.33? If you noticed, I'm not questioning your lower range of 1.33 because 1.33 is inside the current range already. I'm questioning two things:

                a) the exclusion of 1.00 -- I have already shown you counter-evidence that supports this. Seeing that your evidence provided extends to offers/adds made all the way from a month ago, I will be happy to provide for you screenshots of my entire trade history of Green paint bought at 1.00 or less if you want! :)

                b) the inclusion of 1.66. Now, you mention that "there are more sold for 1.66". I'll come back to this statement in a moment.

"The fact is that we should make it 1.33 flat or 1-1.66. The second possibility is odd, the first one is not accurate."

                I agree with this statement.

"So I think there are more sold for 1.66."

On the contrary, the evidence that you have provided for 1.66 isn't particularly satisfying. I've mentioned already that 7 sales in a month at 1.66 is a poor indication of success. Not only that, but any sales occurring 1 month ago is not an accurate reflection of current market prices.

"But I will not close this suggestion because it is based on my research of outpost, not your expirience."

And yet, my experience comes from my own research of Outpost trades... how else would I have given counter-evidence that goes against your suggestion? o.O

"Thanks for your contribution, I do not think you spend 2 minutes to do it."

Contrary to what you believe, I do spend more than 2 minutes doing research! :)

By the way, if your suggestion is accurate, then why is there a guy on Outpost right now, selling 2 cans of Indubitably Green paint for 1.00 each?

                  nice, busted

All I need to disprove your suggestion is evidence that sellers are willing to sell outside of your proposed range. :)

                    UPDATE:

In my post, I mentioned a seller selling for 1.66. I will quote it here:

"I would be more supportive of your suggestion if you gave more examples of the paint successfully selling at 1.66 refined. Keep an eye on these trades:

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8666426 - 1.66 (new, 12 hours old)"

It seems that he has now lowered his price to 1.33. I guess 1.66 doesn't sell as well as he thought it would!

I wanted to make a small contribution to people here, but you have ruined it:D

"I wanted to make a small contribution to people here, but you have ruined it:D"

Sorry, but accuracy comes first over making sellers like me happy! :)

I'm quite successful in buying craftable hats @ 1.22. Should we change the 1.33 ref price?=)

I'm quite successful in buying craftable hats @ 1.22. Should we change the 1.33 ref price?=)

Only if you have enough proof that proves EVERYONE is SUCCESSFULLY SELLING and BUYING for 1.22! :)
